Apple iPad Pro 9.7" 128GB Wi-Fi $814.19 Delivered @ Shopping Square eBay

CYBER

As the people in the comments say, there may be new update models released very soon

Shopping Square have the iPad Pro 128Gb for $999 plus $14.99 shipping, which is $814.19.

Don't forget the extra 1.5% CashRewards cashback though.

They say their warranty service is done in Australia. Expected delivery date 29th Mar-4th Apr.

Also available from another lesser known Hong Kong seller Vaya for $979 shipped which works out to be $783.20. Expected delivery for them is 18-26th Apr! Not sure where warranty items are shipped to. Some say Sydney, others Hong Kong.

Both these sellers are grey imports so its not a nice clean Apple warranty as if purchased retail here. Thats the price you pay for saving $200 odd.

Long discussion about Vaya here:

I asked Vaya about the warranty and this is what they sent:

'All devices sold on the Vaya Shop are unlocked.

Where possible we include an Australian charger. If this is not possible we ship with an Australian adapter.

All Apple products sold by Vaya come with a 12 month global manufacturer's warranty from Apple that can be serviced in an Apple store.'

As on the thread above a lot of people say the iOS devices only have warranty in the country that they are sold in. However apparently Vaya supply an Australian receipt so that should be fine.

  • Unless you really really really really want it this week. I suggest you wait til the new line up is released later this month.

    • Oh really, sod. Are you sure about that?

The dates might not be exact, but its been a year since iPad Pros was out and is due for a refresh soon.

      • The rumours are out there for March or early April. Until Apple confirm the event it is difficult to be sure.

        • Just cancelled my Vaya purchase. If Apple announce before the 22nd and there are no new iPads that entice me I can always buy again. Thanks for reminding me to research (sodding impulse buying).

        • @wfdTamar: The rumour that attracts me is they are talking about smaller bevels. Less footprint for screen ratio.

        • @try2bhelpful: Don't you mean bezels? I doubt Apple would be doing that.

@albert0pia: Yup - wrong word; too early brain fade. I wouldn't be so sure about that the rumour has been doing the rounds that the iPhone 8 will have that. It does make sense.

        • Yes, that 10.5" sounds good. Hate to think what the price will be, although if they're simplifying the 9.7", then the 10.5" might be similar price to what the 9.7" is now (still $1k though!).

@wfdTamar: True, but bang for buck my Mini iPad is some of the best money I have spent. I use it multiple times a day, it is easy to pull out in "downtime", e.g. on public transport, I can get my crosswords, read my paper, search the net, play games, watch movies. Probably the only thing better value is my house (and my man).

        • Yes, that's what I have now (v.2). Nice size, not heavy. I was really tossing wether the Pro would be too big and heavy (with a case added). (given that I have a MacBook Air which is virtually like an iPad with a keyboard size wise).

        • @wfdTamar: I would hang around to see if what the new ones bring. I have a mini V4 and the fingerprint reader is a real asset.
