What are the sizes of the items… Hard to tell if they're worth $10…

    • +1

      G'day Jv,

The bags of eggs are the 125g bags, the Oreo and Creme eggs are the larger full sized ones and the Tim Tams are the standard full packet (the rest of the items are the standard sizes).

The value of our service is a lot more than just the food in the box, our international shipping rates are far cheaper than you can get at Australia Post and the convenience of having us pack and send the order (rather than wasting time at the supermarket and post office) is another bonus. The boxes are around 1kg which would be just over $40 if sent with standard Australia Post shipping (and that is just the cost of the postage).

Hopefully that helps! if you have any other comments or questions just let me know :)

      • thanks

I get it with the Aussie theme, but OREO? Bit odd seeing something you identify with America being featured.
Yes they sell them here, but you know what I mean…

I know it seems a bit crazy but it was actually heavily requested this year from our existing customers (we sent out a survey to find out what they wanted to see in this years easter box). Whilst Oreo is not Australian the Cadbury Oreo egg is exclusive to Australia (and I think possibly the UK) so we had a number of customers in other parts of the world who were very excited to try it. We wanted to give people the chance to experience it who might not be able to otherwise.

  • What is the actual price in the title? $10, $40, $20???

    • A $10 discount on our $40 Easter box. I included the price of our international shipping which is a flat rate of $20

Then please simply state "$50 delivered"

  • Just curious, who's your shipping provider?

    • +1

We ship with DHL for our standard and express orders (previously we shipped express orders with Australia Post, however, we recently moved over to DHL Express as they provide an amazing service with ridiculously quick transit times).

        We ship with DHL

DHL are German, why not use Aussie Post?

        • Australia Post is fantastic for local deliveries and we use them for all of our local event and corporate clients, however, their international service can be unreliable at times (as they are just leveraging off other postal networks). DHL is an end to end service provider and has rarely caused us any issues. Our decision was based on reliability which is incredibly important to both us and our customers.

They want to make sure the package arrives before Easter.

        • @d1s34s3d:

They want to make sure the package arrives before Easter.

Aussie Post guarantee it will arrive before Easter 2018.

        • @jv: No they don't. They can't. They know they'll lose it, crush it, melt it, sell it or maybe even wait until 2019 before delivering it.

        • aust post is terrible. i try not to your there bs service when ever possible

      • Cool, I always thought of DHL as being expensive but seems like the rates are actually quite good for you.

In the distant past I actually tried starting a business pretty much the same as yours but gave up due to lack of interest and prices being too high. Congrats on making it work :)

        • Thank you for the kind words! We have heavily negotiated with DHL as our volume has increased allowing us to offer affordable shipping rates (we have always passed the savings on to the customer).

    • +1

Yes it does! I will add that to the product description now :)
edit: we now also have kangaroos so it is one or the other!
