  • it was $150 during vday right

    • 169/189 is the cheapest I have seen, waiting for that to come around again.

it was $150 during vday right

part of the 'after dark' sale?

    • This is the problem, isn't it. People might have been happy with this price if we hadn't seen it cheaper before.

      • no at this price its cheaper to buy the sunbeam one which is a bath all in one

        • +1

Perhaps, although this allows people to adjust the size of the receptacle to fit the usage. Some people have been using these in eskies to do large pieces of meat.

  • Do these guys ship from an Australian address? If so you could always buy now and claim the price protection when it drops. Need to use Coles Mastercard though for that sweet 2 year price protection

    • Does anyone have one of these Coles Mastercards, can you indicate if there are any downside to them?

      • I do, their insurance fee is a little high compared to competitors. Can't remember what exactly what it was but if you pay off your balance before the statement is formed, it's free!

        • Might be worth looking into. We like to have an online card we can use, and cancel, if we get issues. We try to keep a small total on it.

      • I have the Rewards Platinum one. It's great. 2 Flybuys points per dollar. Virtually everything is covered for Flybuys points (some bills are not) so thats heaps over a year. Then there's the 2 years price protection. If you can be bothered claiming (it's not that hard and they do pay).

Just make sure to pay the balance off. The two things that irritates me - it's a bit is it's hard to get your balance from the site as it takes a while for some transactions or payments to show on it so sometimes you end up paying a little of insurance.

Also quite often the online price protection process does not work, but you can phone.

    • I think there's a minimum price drop with the Coles one though.

      • Yes $10,which is easily to get to given past pricing.

My question still stands, does this item ship from an Australian address and is their Australian storefront?

  • Well there goes my theory about the discounts stopping after the Electrolux acquisition…

Should've waited. I haven't even opened mine up from the last sale, LOL.

    • It isn't a bargain if you don't use it. Is this actually cheaper than what you paid for it - usually this is the discount price?

    • wasnt it cheaper last sale? ill take it off your hands if u dont need it :)

      • @zzyzz - I've used mine every 2nd day since I got it. Perfect yoghurt, eggs, salmon and kangaroo steak, so far have only managed better than average beef steak and chicken.

@furythree last time (10th Feb) it was $189 for the WiFi version.

  • how low of a temperature can this go? 40 degrees?

    • +1

25 Degrees Celsius, up to 99 degrees C

  • This will be good for our chicken sandwiches. It makes me sad watching the better half boil chicken breast and claiming it is "poached".

    • My suggestions - cook it yourself. The other half might just be leaving you a hint.

It's why I always do a bad job at vacuuming.

        • I can't remember the comedian which said it - "The difference between men and women is tha women can see individual dirt molecules whereas, for a man, it has to be arable before they think there is an issue". It is a bit the other way around in our household. Our view to housework is whoever breaks first cleans and the other one keeps out of the way. My intolerance is food scraps and mould - they have to be dealt with promptly.

    • @lowballer It does THE BEST chicken breast.

    • True @try2bhelpful. I am a chef, so try to steer clear of cooking at home. Kind of like a plumber has leaky taps😜

  • +1

i think when u buy the dragon sex calendar this is a suggested purchase

  • So, it arrived today - 2 day free shipping with Australia post. Can't believe it.

    • Did it have an Australian Tax invoice with GST?

      • Yes, it did.

  • For anyone still looking to order, if you talk to their live chat, they can offer you an additional $20 off the SALE price! Bought a wifi + BT model for $189 with my 28 degrees credit card and if it drops in price within 6 months, I'll claim the difference!
