      Apparently the dormant NFC radio in the watch will be activated with Android Wear 2.0 by the end of the month:

          if that was true it would have been discovered in dev preview, but android pay was only visible in Lg Urbane 2nd edition. hence i think its NO :(
          I recently sold my huawei watch (leather version used for 1 year) for$240 and bought LG urbane 2nd edition from amazon for $270 delivered, it has LTE and Android pay coming soon.

          @KLoNe: comparing with LG sport it has bigger battery and slimmer. Also i cannot afford Sport which might be around $500 :(

          @hweita: on Gumtree, mine has many scratches on the bezel (i use it even when i'm at gym). hence sold for 240.

    Great watch! Had for approx 8 months and love it. People don't realise it's a smart watch - because the screen is round/always on. I get so many compliments

    mobileciti had the black stainless a couple weeks ago for $359 posted. I waited for the w2 and was disappointed so pulled the trigger on the w1. No regrets, looks awesome.

        Really great. I have it on ambient mode so the screen dims and is on 100% of the time, take it off the charger at 6am and it goes back on the dock usually at about 11pm with 40% battery life remaining.

    I don't think it's worth paying extra for the Huawei, I bought my urbane for $270 new about a year ago and still running great, could even go with moto 360 2nd edition if need be rather than dish this much on the huawei.

      I think it's worth paying extra if it's something you enjoy. Those two you mentioned don't do it for me aesthetically.
