  • What are these things like compared to Oral B toothbrushes?

Not all that happy with my Oral B, to get teeth really clean you have to spend an eternity brushing or press really hard, which quickly wears out the brush head.

Not sure about the Sonic Care but with Oral B you need to get the 1000 model or above for full speed oscillation and pulsation. I thought the lesser models would be just as good but there is a significant difference.

Side note - the US model 1000 is different to the AU model and is not full speed.

      Maybe see here

A six-month clinical comparison of the efficacy of the Sonicare and the Braun Oral-B electric toothbrushes on improving periodontal health in adult periodontitis patients.

I've got an Oral B 5000 series and a soniccare diamonondclean and you cannot compare the two. I always thought the Oral B was good until I used the Diamondclean. Now I'd never touch Oral B again. The diamondclean leaves your mouth feeling like you've just walked out of the dentist, where the Oral B just feels like you've brushed with a manual toothbrush really well.

    • Thanks, might try a Sonicare once I use all my Oral B brush heads.

Yeah I've had both.. Sonic care is the best for me… Takes the clean feel to another level.. Takes a little while to get used to, even coming from the oral b, but worth it

Will this be available in Other Costcos as well?

    • Looks like a manufacturer's coupon hence I'd imagine it's at all stores. I'm heading into Ringwood tomorrow hence can report back then unless someone beats me to it.

      • Can you buy me a packet :P

        • Not with manners like that, no. :P

        • @carlenet:

Can you please buy me a packet?

        • @Scab:

Lovely manners but no, I was just ducking in quickly for a mud cake for my son's birthday party tomorrow and home again to get all the prep done.
