  • Does anyone knows any lounge access Bargains in Hong Kong International Airport?

    • Priority Pass have 3 lounges in HK:

      https://www.prioritypass.com/en/Lounges/Asia-Pacific/Hong-Ko…

How to get access to Priority Pass? Every Ozbargain brothers and sisters should know.

      • Yes the OzBargain professional card includes 2 free visits per year.

      • Avoid the Plaza Premium Lounge in the HK airport if you can! It's the most crowded lounge I've been to. There is always a long queue to get in and, even if you can get inside, it's difficult to find a seat. Foods are also sub-par.

        • I have been to the one at T1, West Hall. It was fine…. apart from the fact that they blocked out a larger area for another airlines more than for members.

      • sorry how do we get access to priority pass?

  • Thanks op

  • When do the deal expire??

Fares for HK in particular look expensive for a 'sale'.

    • Well, CX is bleeding money at the moment if you read the news. They can't compete with these fares with others.

  • +1

That doesn't seem cheap when you can get a 14 hour flight to San fran for 850-900

DAE think it's ridiculous flying to Hong Kong is more expensive than flying to other China cities, especially when it says "stopovers are permitted at Hong Kong in both directions" in the T&C?

    • +1

      Totally!

    • Just have a crazy thought:
Can I stopover in HK for a week and fly to China, return to Sydney the same day?

      • Can't see why not.

However, at best, you waste about a day doing so. Worse still, you risk missing your connecting flight back to Sydney if your flight from China is delayed (extensive delays are apparently very common in China).
