    These sound like high quality made Chinese headphones. They are arguably the best headphones under $50

    I've got the Koss KSC75 clip-on headphones, the Piston 3 and the latest Piston Hybrid HD Pro and they are all extremely good in their own way - it just depends on your preference. The Piston 3 have a more even sound, while the Hybrid HD Pro have slightly better clarity but there's really nothing in it, they're both great.

    I should note that while they do sound good, they are actually a lot more neutral than the more newer ones such as the Hybrids and the Hybrids Pros. So, if you're looking for more of a V shape sound profile, this one may disappoint you. However, in my opinion they are probably the best sounding Xiaomi IEMs, but my opinion may change after I get the newer Hybrids pros.

      Unlikely - the Hybrid Pro are basically just an improved version of the Hybrid. The sound profile is very similar. Your experience is the same as mine, so thanks for your description - it's very accurate.

        I heard they improved the mids and dropped the bass on the Hybrid Pros. But you might be right about me not liking the new Hybrid Pros as much, I brought it on sale from Gearbest a few days ago and I hoping it will be better. Apparently, it's supposed to be a successor to the Piston 3.

    What is the warranty with these?

    I had a pair fail two weeks ago- the mic side earphone stopped working (full volume had maybe 5% sound emitting).

      It's common - clear out the earwax from the mesh inside the earpiece - in most cases you need a pin to pull the entire mesh out.

  These Chinese headphones may be spying on you
  I personally use the left earplug I the right ear, and the right earplug in the left ear to confuse them
  You can never be too careful
  And don't get me started on my underwear made in Packistan from Indian cotton ( they tend to bunch up around the Khyber pass )
