  That'd be toast & a cuppa, rather then bread & a cuppa I suppose?

    Yes that's the first ting that caught my eye too….. one would have thought the terms "cooked" and "continental breakfast" were mutually exclusive, but here we are!

    A “Twin room”, is $110/night mid week & you have to share a bathroom!

    Shared bathroom….yikes! you don't often see the words "luxury" and "shared bathroom" in the same context too often.

      People are in the process of getting their money back from scoopon. basically the provider of the last deal (entiregroup nsw) and the team over at scoopon did not see eye to eye on certain points (which we can only speculate on). hence the deal got pulled. see the last deal, a rep from the provider posted this reason: http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/29763

  This place has a pretty inconvenient location for anybody visiting Victoria…. Its far from Melbourne, far from Philip Island, and far from the great ocean road.

    It's only a 40 minute ferry ride from Sorrento (the next suburb from Portsea) to Queenscliff (an hour drive to the Great Ocean Road). The ferry costs around $55 for a car plus $7.50 per adult. It runs every hour, on the hour, 7am to 6pm. It's a great way to start your Great Ocean Road trip.

  Portsea is good if you want to go diving or snorkeling to see leafy sea dragons. It is also good for sea kayaking. Its a shame this offer is only valid for stays Sun - Thurs otherwise I would make the trip down there when the weather gets warmer.
