I think I used mine on the Xbox One controller that still hasnt shipped yet.

        • I'm sure you know how to create multiple accounts ;)

And yeah, minimum $29+post elsewhere for the boxed version with the dongle

          @Spackbace:

just wondering has anyone been caught creating multiple accounts? i think usually in the terms it says one per person.

just wondering what the penalties would be if caught?

        • @CBR250RR:

They actually monitor multiple accounts and delete them

      TL;DR

OzSale advertised XB1 controllers as being 2nd gen (with 3.5mm port), controllers that are received are 1st gen, without port

Except that these are 360 controllers…

Though EC loves making this warning… only in my posts

Not sure why you couldn't just include that TL;DR in your comment tho…

      • It's like iPhone but in reverse.

      give me a break

    • Useless time wasting links

  • If it's genuine and new, why doesn't it come in a box. Very suss.

    • probably pulls from retail XBox360s

    • (Following on from the previous deal)
How can buyers have confidence in the product if seller doesn't - altering the product description post-sale.

    • +2

This might amaze you but the facts are controllers are made outside the box. They are then sometimes put inside a box to be sold and other times they are put somewhere else such as with a console to be sold.

So it is possible for new controllers to exist without a box!

      Because it's not a penis?

  • why does it take 3 weeks to be delivered if shipped from Australia?

    Estimated Delivery
    19/04/17 - 24/04/17
Orders are dispatched directly to you from Australia.

    • +2

Because it is shipped by a 3rd party

Ozsale don't own nor control the stock. It's supplied and usually shipped by a 3rd party merchant (who usually buy It in bulk via tenders, auctions (grays online) or contracts with Microsoft or importers (Ingram Micro) ) hence why ozsale don't care if they are dodgy or not because they are still getting there cut of the sale.

It's similar to the Msata SSD's that were selling on eBay in 2015 , which were supplied and bought from grays online in bulk for ~ $20 each and then sold on eBay for $70 - $100.

You will also find that some items bought through this process (may or may not apply to this sale) will have the serial numbers delisted and blocked from warranty.

      • -1

tl;dr Probably isn't actually shipped from AU.

        • -1

Shipped from AU is most likely in the template they use for all the sale listings

      • You will also find that some items bought through this process (may or may not apply to this sale) will have the serial numbers delisted and blocked from warranty.

Same crap you spouted last time but where's the proof?!

Or is OzSale only ok for you to post?!

        • The puma shoes I posted from ozsale were genuine . I know that for a fact because I bought a few from the previous sale they had before that

Unlike yourself , you knew that initial deal for Xbox controllers was misleading and you keep posting these deals without any warning in OP

Same crap you spouted last time but where's the proof?!

and do you have proof of this, lol:

New Genuine Xbox 360 Wireless Controller

        • @easternculture: >bought a few from the previous sale

How does that prove anything about the current sale?

But anyhow perhaps a better question is did you remember to logout before you started making comments? Because I have seen you replying to yourself.

First comments of items received were posted on 7th march.

Before purchasing, I like checking the ABN:

    Entity name: OZSALE PTY. LIMITED
ABN status: Active from 01 Jul 2006
    Entity type: Australian Private Company
Goods & Services Tax (GST): Registered from 01 Jul 2006
    Main business location:
    NSW 2100

They are registered in Australia, so any issue you could complain to the NSW Fair Trading.

    That's good enough to me.

    Thank you

  • Can these be used with a pc or android phone?

    • +2

Apparently you need a receiver…this controller doesn't include one

      The receiver is about $20…

  • Will I need to buy a receiver or something to use this with my Windows 10 PC? How does it connect?

    • +3

You have to buy the wireless receiver and they're around $15 on eBay.

      • If you already have an xbox controller receiver, you should be able to pair these to the one you've already got.
Alternatively, you could buy one cheap boxed version (from somewhere else) and as many of these as you want.
I've just bought two of these from ozsale, so now I have four wireless controllers for games with the kids. My cabled controllers keep getting kicked and pulled, potentially damaging the usb ports.

Had nothing but bad experiences from ozsale, wouldn't recommend

  • opinions between 360 vs 1 controller for pc gaming?

  • I got the Xbox 1 Controller from the previous deal from OzSale. The right bumper is a tad bit stiff for me to press (not sure if it's like that for all Xbox one controllers?) but I got use to it after a while. It came with 2 Duracell AA Batteries as well which was nice I guess but since I was using it wired I didn't need it.

It surprisingly arrived earlier than expected (about 2 weeks after the sale), but I can't really vouch for them as it's just one item. It came in a semi-tough letter bag with very little padding. I wish I remembered more.

It works as expected though so I'm satisfied to an extent.

  • I just want a cheap deal for the receiver, I missed the last deal by Scorptec or whoever that included the receiver.

  • Can XB360 controllers be used for XB1's? I just bought it this morning only realising this evening that I have an XB1
