    Which is better? This or $579 new iPad mini 4 wifi with A9 + 128G storage tethering with your phone for internet?

      well that would depend entirely on your needs…

      Are you happy to tether for internet, or do you prefer/need it have its own cellular connection? (if the latter, then 16Gb cellular)

      Are you happy with 16GB of storage, or do you need more than that for apps / media? (if the latter, then 128Gb wifi)

      If you need both, then it's a trade-off (between cellular vs storage & processor speed) that only you can decide!

      Get a pocket wifi.

      128GB is much more useable than 16GB.

      And the Mini 4 would have the same SoC as either Air 1 or Air 2, which is a gen or two behind the A9. You'll get a year or two more life out of the A9 version.

    CostCo had Mini 4 32GB Space Grey for $419.97 at Auburn.

    Mini3 16GB 16GB Gold for $439.97 for some reason.

    16GB is old model. As of last year, they doubled the amount of storage on every model, making 32GB the base model.

    I was in Apple on the w/end. They only had one colour for the ipad mini 4 32 gb, which seemed very odd. Maybe it is about to be replaced or phased out and that's why there are some specials on?
