Good price on a wireless multimedia keyboard with an air mouse and touchpad inbuilt. They work really well with Android TV Boxes and can be used with PCs as well.

  • This will go well with my android box.

  • So if I buy 2 what are the chances I can use them for 2 player games on PC, as gamepads ?

    • +3

Doubtful as it would be recognised as keyboard/mouse devices not gamepad, there might be some driver magic which can be done but it would be a lot of messing around if it's even possible

  • These must chew through the batteries

    • Because?

        It's a V8.

        • +3

Actually based on the description its-

V8 In Battery Flying Squirrels 2.4G

  • so tell me, what does this do ?

    • -1

Bluetooth keyboard. Hook it up to any Bluetooth compatible device e.g. android TV box

      • +1

They are not bluetooth. You need to plug receiver in so will work with android tv/pc

        • Is it Bluetooth or not? So confused here..The description on the product doesn`t help either.

        • +4

          @BagIt: No it's wireless (2.4GHz).

  • So I imagine I can just plug it into a USB on my TV right? I don't have a box right now

    • +1

This is basically a wireless keyboard. Does your TV work with other keyboards?

So do i need to buy anything else for this or can i just plug it directly into my rasberry pi 3? (Still havent used the free one i got From the ozbargin post ages agao)

    • +1

So people who actually had a use for that deal missed out (you know, actually developers who the deal was actually intended for). Yet you got one and have used it. Seems fair.

      • My intention at the time was to work on a low cost computer based solely around taking exams so I did have a valid use. School just got to hectic and I never had time to follow this idea through. I'd still like to at some stage but I just havent had time

  • Be careful ..

Might be worth the risk for the price, plus they accept Paypal.

The 3 mi band 2's I purchased for the kids turned up no problems.

I feel like if you check literally any company in the world you'll get similar reviews

    • Most chinese shops spruiked on here are rather dodgy. It's just a matter of whether the cheap price is worth the risk to you.

I definitely wouldn't buy a phone or anything from shops like this as you're screwed if you have to send it back due to any fault.

  • d'oh I just ordered one from eBay a couple of days ago (~$11).

  • Love if it was backlit!

  • +2

Anyone know where the best deal is for a bluetooth equivalent of this?

  • This seems to be one of the many clones of the Rii Mini i8. It's several times cheaper but it may or may not have several quality issues such as intermittent disconnecting and limited range.

  • Great deal for a keyboard with trackpad. People who are interested in a fly air Mouse this one is pretty good for the price:

  • Does this work with xiaomi mi box and is it a better option than the voice control remote?

    • It's a wireless keyboard and mouse. No different to plugging in a wired keyboard to its USB port, so use that to test comparability.

As for better, one has voice, one has keyboard and mouse. Completely different.

  • We did it this afternoon.

  • Bought 1 for raspberry Pi. Thanks

  • Got one, thanks

  • +2

I purchased one that wasn't backlit a few years ago. A complete pain in the arse if you sit in a dark room and the eyesight is on the way out.

  • Got one. Don't forget CR.

  • +1

Rubbish. I've gone through 2. Just buy a proper branded device and be done with it.

    • If it's an HTPC I'd recommend paying a bit more for something proper like the Logitech K400. I do have another cheap compact trackpad/KB thing like this for my NAS box but it's tacky as hell. Like that very cheap clicky sounding keys, and absolutely crap layout with many things needing those "function" style extra key.
I bought this (not this seller exactly) because the layout at least looks decent, but I'm still expecting it to still sound and feel tacky as hell. Ok for that use and price though.

  • I bought the MantisTek from Banggood awhile back. Great keyboard

  • Went to order and the 'free' shipping is 6-35 business days. 7 Weeks for delivery??
Anyone have a real world time for shipping?

    • 35 days is 5 weeks, not 7 weeks

      • Not if it's business days. 5 business days per week, so 35 days = 7 weeks.

      • Yes I understand maths. In business days its 7 weeks.

Save your money and get one of this when it comes out:
    https://www.cnet.com/au/products/lenovo-500-multimedia-contr…

    • The Lenovo Looks nice and the touch pad feature looks good - but as it is not backlit its a no go for me.

    • If the reviews are good I will be buying one of these, massive touch area (the whole keyboard area), 8 month battery life with AAA batteries, 3 finger gestures, etc.
      Thanks for the link.

  • Hi thanks for the deal but no free shipping when you go to order ,is anyone else having this problem .

  • Ahh drats, I bought an Ipazzport one for almost twice the price.

  • tried these before it worked great for a month…………

  • How's the keyboard buttons on this one? I've used one of these before and the keyboard buttons felt like a TV remote and were rubbish for typing anything more than a 4 letter word.

    • I got both versions(white-no led and black backlit) and I must say they are the best! Buttons feel really good, Overall quality is very good and they are by far more practical than my Sony bravia android tv's 2 remotes(classic and touch remote) and my Iphone's sony remote app(that takes forever to load and connect). Highly recommended, Only disadvantage is that the connector uses one of the tv's USB ports
