  • Is this similar to ozito brand?
    Bought ozito once… never again…

I never used Ozito, however I have several worx cordless tolls and all doing great, used to be masters (RIP) had good sales on these products. You can find many comments about worx tools here in ozbargain

      • My bad then!

IMO much better brand than ozito, I have a 20v hammer drills and a 20v hedge trimmer, both are great and have ample torque

      • Are they corded?
I bought a cordless drill but it stopped holding charge after a few years

I have an Ozito corded Jigsaw that's at least 10 years old, maybe more, still going strong. I only use it a few times a year, which is why I bought an Ozito. Similarly an Ozito belt sander, use it about the same, 6 years old, still going strong.

All my cordless stuff is Makita or Sthil.

      • Could be why, I had a cordless that stopped holding charge after a few years.

Ozito is Bunnings home brand and they're not that bad these days, the really shitty stuff Bunnings sell is XU1 branded. I thought WORX were Masters home brand but it turns out they're not.

      • Well I must admit it was a long time ago so they may have changed

I had a Worx pressure cleaner that died within the 2 year warranty period, but the Masters claim process was really easy even though they shut down. I dropped it off at a post office and had a refund in my account a couple of weeks later. I replaced it with a Bosch that fit the same attachments.

My ~6 year old Kmart/BigW drill doesn't hold charge anymore, and if I managed to get that long out of that crap, I'd happily go with an Ozito to replace it.

      • Haha
I am seeing a trend here, maybe corded is the way to go!!
