  • There are still people using portable TV's nowadays?

I thought they had gone out of fashion ever since iPod's and mobile broadband had become popular.

  • agree. tv is boring. download BRrip movies watch it on your iphone or ipad is MUCH better

  • these are handy for testing cctv and rf modulation etc, although this one doesn't seem to have an analogue tv tuner, so yeh.. maybe not so useful.

  • Could be good for sports etc. Eg. keeping an eye on the cricket while at work ;) Reception might be hit and miss when using the aerial that comes with it though.

    • Cricket would be the reason I'd buy one. It doesn't mention if the 240v AC power, is for the unit or to recharge the batteries.

maybe the analogue 7" on is better for $99?

      • lol @ 7-inch TFT LCD colour screen at resolution 336,960 pixels (1,440 x 234).

  • I know that this may be an isolated case, but a friend had a really bad experience with Onedaysale and she vowed never to buy from there again.

    • GreenLego,

I would love to hear from you/ your friend and see if I could resolve her issue with us.

    • Agree if rabbit ears don't work in your area then this will need to be connected to an external antenna. Hardly very portable them.

  • I doubt this receives HD channels? Or does it indeed receive and playback HD channels in this device's 'regular' mode along with SD channels?
