  just out of pure curiosity , how would these guys source Aus models?

  the margin for apple products is razor thin, you have to a authroised one to sell offociially

  minus ebay and paypal fees,

  and still sell it for below the apple shop???

    I'd like to know this as well. iphone 7 - officeworks $1049; kogan grey import $899; Ausluck - $863. Missus needs new phone…I know the issues you can have with grey imports when things go wrong, think i'm willing to risk it.

      Obviously apple themselves margins are super high.
      But for resellers I know is something like 8%. Unless tings have changed over recent years.

      I used to know the manager of an apple byte store. Years ago.

      I went in and tried to negotiate a deal on $40k worth of equipment. He tried his best to drop prices but couldn't. So unfortunately we had to go some other brand

        Retailers like JB-hifi, HN, are regularly doing 10% off for apple product, I guess it should be more than 10%.
