These are a great unit, though I'll warn you, they handle USB ATROCIOUSLY.
They work, but they have a grand total of 0 caching ability.
If you have a USB stick over 8GB or over 100 folders, you can expect up to a 4 second delay to skip track.

It will also ignore button presses if you do them fast on USB mode.
So if you know the song you want is 4 tracks ahead, you can't: press-press-press-press; you have to press-pause-press-pause, etc.

The sound quality, the 'app' and the equaliser are AMAZING.

And if you use bluetooth from your phone, you're in luck.
But If like me, you enjoy just dumping your music collection on a stick and off you go; It's annoying; Kenwood are kings here.

    • Any recommendation for a cheap Kenwood mate?

Mega Bass MEGA BASS for Xplod's

  • How do people install the Bluetooth microphone?

    • I've got the previous model (5050BT) and there was a wired mic included, which connects to the back of the unit.
Phone is connected via BT though.

  • If it had Van Halen's 7th Album preloaded, I'd buy one.

  • How come units with Digital Radio still aren't popular?
