CBA had this offer early this year and now it's back again? I have cancelled previous card after cash back, can we apply again???

  Just rang them…if I cancel the card they will not waive the $59 annual fee…oh well, $191 is nice too :-)

    You have to switch to the no annual fee card. Then once the annual fee has been refunded, you can cancel it.

      The CBA guy said they don't have a 'no annual fee' card, only the $29 one.

        Sorry, yeah that's the one. Annual fee is waived in the first year (and any year after you spend $1000 in).

  My income is around 140 a week, no debt outside of student loans. I have 12,000 on the bank, am I eligible for the card (just for the cashback then cancel).

  I managed to open, purchase >$500, repay that amount, receive my $250 cash back and close the account before the annual fee hit! Bonus 👍
