  • Got my card today and requested the lounge invites. Now what can i spend $2500 on…

    • I would only order the lounge invites if you are going to use them. Otherwise best is order on 364th day before cancelling the cards (so not to pay annual fee) as the invites are valid for 2 years

      • Have they switched to online passes yet? Or still issuing paper ones?

        • +1

I ordered mine a couple of weeks ago and they are still paper ones, if that helps.

        • @Camembert: Thanks.

      • Yeah good tip. I need mine in a few weeks so didn't waste any time.

  • any idea if existing anz supplementary card holder is eligible for this offer?

Any comparable deal for Ozbargainers who are on the wrog side of 12 months from the previous deal?

    • Second this. Got Amex plat edge, St George amplify, Citi Signature, Nab rewards, both Anz blacks (cancelled and waiting). Was looking at westpac black but they don't have a no annual fee first year product at the moment.

Is there any lower tier cards etc?

And anyone applied for Anz under 12months after changing address?

  • Are school fees considered an eligible purchase?

    • +1

My uni fees are if that helps.

      • yes, thanks for the confirmation

  • Does anyone know if supplementary cards are free for the first year too?
    Thanks

    • +1

i got my supplementary card free

  • I applied for the card a week ago online and no word if approved or not approved. I'm not a customer of ANZ, anyone know how long it takes to get an answer?

    • +1

I knew within a week of applying for the card. You could always call the ANZ credit phone number (1800 076 113) and ask for an update.

Has anyone recently successfully received the 75k QFF points after having previously received it (closed acc longer than 12 months ago)? As the terms seemed to have changed? "This offer applies only once per eligible customer".

"Not available in conjunction with other offers, packages or promotions, or when transferring from an existing ANZ credit card or where you currently hold or have closed an ANZ Frequent Flyer, ANZ Frequent Flyer Gold, ANZ Frequent Flyer Platinum or ANZ Frequent Flyer Black credit card within the previous twelve months. This offer applies only once per eligible customer."

    Thank you.

    • I would like to know this too. Was going to re-apply for this FF Black card, I've already had it and cancelled it greater than 12 mths ago. However, if I'm not going to get the 75k FF points then I'll apply for the Rewards Black.

  • Anyone got their points?

I did the minimum spend and got like 3K points but no bonus points.

    • havent gotten my points either, i think it takes 60 days?

      • Hmm gonna ring up today and find out, will post details !

        • +2

Yeah they said 60 days lol

    • Got my points after the first statement (just this week).

      • as in you've already gotten your points?

        • Correct. They showed around the same day I got the statement email!

  • Can anyone clarify? If I pay bills online using my credit card.. does this count? Since it is not in person? Thanks
