Click Frenzy Mayhem - May 16 2017 7PM

Does anyone have any details of this?

I received a flyer in the mail from Australia Post.

Which retailers will be in? Which won't jack up prices…?

    You mean fail frenzy

    • lol, how bad is it?

      • Most of it is terrible, but if you look down the front page bargain list here you can get 7 Van Heusen shirts for $105 delivered. They usually RRP for $70 each, so that's almost 80% off.

Keep an eye on our event page here. All the Click Frenzy deals will appear there next week, you can also get an idea of last years (May 2016) deals, sorted in vote order. Here is the forum post from last year's event (May 2016) as well.

  • frenzy
    ˈfrɛnzi/

    noun: frenzy; plural noun: frenzies

a state or period of uncontrolled excitement or wild behaviour.

"Doreen worked herself into a frenzy of rage"

synonyms: hysteria, madness, mania, insanity, derangement, dementedness, delirium, feverishness, fever, wildness, distraction, agitation, turmoil, tumult

… should we really be shopping online when we're so sick that we're frenzied?

  • +5

Couldn't care less about Click Frenzy, all I want is another Amex's Click Frenzy offer.

  • +6

It is called click frenzy because you work yourself into an angry frenzy looking for real deals. The anger and frustration….

  • +7

I can't believe they are having another treasure hunt.

    • Make sure you take screenshots if you win.
    • If there is ambiguity in what the prize is (ie different picture from product info), assume it's the cheaper one and don't even waste time contacting them.
    • Make sure that if you win, you create another account if you want to keep playing (even if rules doesn't mention it) as 2 prices = impossible = hacker = none of the prices given out.

Besides, what happened with all the "hacked" prizes that would go to other participants, even though there was no way of seeing who clicked second or to contact them? They clearly didn't pay them out.

And don't try and contact them to reason with them. Clickfrenzy will not tolerate such behavior and will not answer any emails or Facebook messages or phone calls.

That said, many people here won last year (incl me) despite clickfrenzy being one of the shadiest companies I've ever seen.

Are you ready for the most frustrating event of the year? Good luck!

    • +1

I forgot to mention to be careful what you post here as they will monitor this thread and if they can identify who you are, they will take away any prize you've won.

Posting in ozbargain clickfrenzy thread = hacker = no prize for you.

      • +1

Damn… So I definitely shouldn't get my hopes up for these supposedly frenzy deals ??

    • Belongs in the forums

      *yey

    • +3

there will be like 1 of each of those examples

Insufficient quantity for sure… forum post material

    • +5

This is really more a competition than a promotion. Reeks of scam.

    • +6

Load of BS. OZB better than advertising this garbage.

    • +4

      Not again….

    • +1

      1 PS4 and 1 LG TV.
      No Bargain here

Just watched moments ago (~8am, 16/05/17) on Channel Nine as Lisa Wilkinson asked him point-blank "And how many of those do you have on hand?"; the ratty conman just grinned slyly, said "Oh, we've got a fair few…" and went back to spruiking.

    • +1

      meh

    • -1

      Bought three - thanks!

      • -1

Broden? Broden? Is that you, son?

        • nah at least 7 min for Broden….

    • +4

Need to be pretty stupid to believe that.

    • +2

Poor old click frenzy, it just wasn't meant to be. Reminds me of those auction sites back in the day that claimed to sell iphones for $5.

    • +1

no ozbargainer was able to buy these $4 or $7 items. It is all fake and can not be trusted!

      • *looks at the $4 PS4 I bought last year…

umm ok.. if you say so…

It was on Sunrise this morning, interviewing the founder of Click Frenzy. They are expecting 1.5 million shoppers to participate in the event.

“These people will have multiple computers, multiple browsers, multiple tabs open and they’ll be the ones who have the page open right at the exact spot so that they can click at the right time and make sure they have an overwhelming advantage,”

Yep, that sounds about right :).

        • +2

If there are so many of us with multiple pc's and tabs does that mean 1.5Mil is more like 1.1 because we all have 10 tabs on 3 devices lol.

  • +2

I am not blown away yet this year, and I think I know why. It's something which most of us have been aware of for some time, consciously or unconsciously, but have been too reluctant to confront:

    The Internet has been Ozbargained.

    • Yeah, I preferred the days where most people were too scared to buy stuff online.. getting things like front row concert tickets was so easy. Now it's all sold out in the first 10 milliseconds. Bloody people.

  • Oops, already mentioned

  • +2

here we go again, avoiding it this year to avoid being accused of cheating again.

  • +2

So how do I get one of those cheap tv's etc. Serious question

  • +1

    waste of time like always

  • +1

has anyone got the email yet they said 6:30 I didnt get it yet

    • I didn't get it either, should have known not to bother :-)

    • No, nothing received here yet too.

    • No email either :)

  • I missed my son's high school graduation for this? Come on!

  • +2

What a load of bollocks= yet again an epic fail causing an epic flounce… no emails at 1830 so no go nuts sale prices. Click Frenzy get your shit together and stop pretending you can provide a service you so clearly cannot

  • +2
  • Anyone been able to go on to the GO NUTS store ?

  • $50 Gift Card available for use at Westfield stores

    • Sorry, this item is sold out. We experience high demand for the Click Frenzy Mayhem Go Nuts deals and stocks are limited.
  • Was fairly sure I got the gift card, checked out, paid with Paypal, but looking at my Paypal it says seller hasn't accepted payment, however in the comf email it says

    "Cart Items: 3459867349586394XXXX"

    shrugs

    • +2

Look like you got a dummy product. Did you try to cheat? Be honest you dirty cheater lol

      • I'd happily admit to cheating if I did haha, I saw that banner pop up and clicked the utter $h!t out of it, then panicked coz I went to Paypal and forgot my log in. When I first saw the email confirmation I thought it was the gift card number showing up already, but now I just have no idea haha.

Maybe that was the 1 Gift Card they had up for grabs for everyone :D

        • I heard of someone who got one with an order number of 1XX - so I assuming there was a few of these available. Based on the last event, there were heaps of dummy products, so just have to be careful.

        • @oodian:

Cheers for the heads up! I clicked the banner down the bottom of the page, so wouldn't have a clue how I managed to get a dummy product, the last 4 digits are actually in my email but I changed them to XXXX on here when posting just in case it was the gift card number or something :P

  • If you did get one into cart be sure it is not there before the next one (remember from last time it stopped checkout).

"Thank you for placing your order. Subject to verification that you are a Click Frenzy subscriber and that you have complied with our terms and conditions, your order will be confirmed and your product will soon be shipped. If you are a confirmed subscriber and followed the Click Frenzy instructions sent via emails, sit tight, all will be well and we'll be in touch soon."

Do red westfield cards work at all (outside westfield) coles or aldi?

    • -1

I do not think so. I think it only works with any Coles (+ other stores) at Westfield.

    • -5

Yes. Anywhere where eftpos is accepted

      • -1

Not sure why I get negged.

This topic has been well discussed here and I have used them outside of Westfield with absolutely no problem.

        • That's the XS (non red) one.

          https://www.westfieldgiftcards.com.au/Online/Information/Ter…

Gift cards may be used to purchase goods or services at participating retailers in Westfield shopping centres in Australia with “EFTPOS” facilities, when the retailer elects to accept the gift card and the gift card has enough unused value to make the purchase. Westfield XS Gift Cards can also be used at certain retailers outside of Westfield shopping centres with “EFTPOS” facilities which elect to accept the gift card. A list of participating stores and centres is available online at westfieldgiftcards.com.au. Some retailers may choose not to accept the gift card.

        • @John Kimble:

Also for the red one (despite what the website says). Please read the discussion in the other thread. It's been tried and tested by many OzBargainers.

        • @Love a bargain: Oh ok, fair enough. Pretty slack of them, but!

  • How many Go Nuts deals can I buy?
There is only one item per user during the 24 hours of Click Frenzy Mayhem so choose carefully. Once you have made a purchase of an item you will not >be able to purchase another during the event.

Just noticed this, bummer, looks like I'm out!

  • +1

I tried for about half of them last year and didn't get nothing. I did manage to see the offer each time and click on it but someone else always did it a second or two before me. Waste of time.

  • +1

    aaaaaand the xbox are gone

    • +1

Got it into my cart and then told none left :(

      • +1

Yup, was processing through paypal and then same thing.

On a positive, it leaves us all open to win the bigger prizes.

These are our practice rounds haha

      • Got to confirm payment button on paypal, but sent me to an empty cart page on CF…

    • haha they are super quick. I was watching my bro clicking refresh constantly (some viewing I know!) and he got through the instant it came up etc and was still gone!

  • Had xbox in my cart, went to Paypal and it disappeared! ;-(

    • same happened to me

  • Almost scored the $4 xbox, got as far as paypal and then bam nothing left

    • +1

      sammmeeee
