How many standard scoops can I have and still drive?

If you are on P-plater, then none.
According to the ingredient list, the ice cream contains less than 0.5% of alcohol. Take 0.5% as worst case scenario, 1 standard drink is 10 grams of alcohol which is converted to 10/0.789/(500*0.005)=5.07. You need to eat 5.1 tubs to get 1 standard drink. If you can finish eating within 5min and start driving immediately, you may be tested and caught for drink driving, however, you second test will clear you.

      • If someone eat 5.1 tubs of ice-cream within 5 mins, that person most likely will be to sick to drive away. (Why 5 mins? Isn't 2 standard drink for 1st hour for male and 1 standard drink for female?)

        • Generally, alcohol is metabolised at a rate of ~0.016%/hr BAC. As soon as the alcohol gets into your body, your body starts to break them down. The reason I use 5 mins is to have 1 standard drink to get into your system as quickly as possible. As the concentration of the alcohol in this ice cream is really low, you may never reach to the point to have a full 1 standard drink in your system. And that's why I said your second test will clear you even if you get caught…

      • Of course in all likelyhood the brain freeze you'll be experiencing after eating 2.6litres of ice-cream in 5 minutes make it highly probable that you'll experience a period of temporary blindness and crash into a parked car (or your mum's letterbox if you're a P-plater). High on the 1kg+ of sugar you've just consumed, you flee the scene and later spend either 100-hours on a community corrections order, or 30-days grounded from borrowing your mum's car (P-plater).

    • There's not enough alcohol content to blow anything over a 0 in these tubs

    • great naplan question for maths and science.

  • Ended up throwing a tub away the last time it was on special.
    Tasted like ass.

why would you throw away a perfectly good ass?

    • +1

ass of opposite gender is ok ….. same gender could be a problem from a palate perspective.

though my dog and cat even prefer their own….. in not a connosier.

  • is it good?

    • +1

I don't think it's as good as Connoisseur but it's the next best.

Haven't tried the vanilla but the Belgian chocolate one is nice.

      • thanks

      • hard to beat some of the connoisseur ice creams for value in premium ice creams.

        • From what I remember, some Sarah Lee varieties were just as good if not better as Connosseur…it's been a while since I've had it though

  • I liked the flavour how ever both times i purchased this it was icy. Your crunching on ice so that's a bit crap.

if it's it's icey means it thawed and was then frozen again ……. not an ice cream issue more a food handling issue.

  • Be warned, this is VERY SUGARY, I admit to a sweet tooth but is rediculus

BREAKING: Ice cream is very sugary.

      ;)
