  • Does anyone know if they require iD when you're collecting groceries? Placed an order for my daughter to pick up but the order is under my name

    • I.D plus signature required but you can call them up and let them know someone else will be picking it up no problem

    • If you collect at a Coles collection locker you get issued a pin to your phone. Input pin into locker system and your locker will open. Fully self served. No id required.

    • The one I C&C from doesnt ask for ID, you just pull up in the parking bay, call the mobile number on the sign and tell them "your" name and they bring your order out and load into your car…YMMV

      • I am always surprised at woolworths c&c I just say my wifes name and they bring it out no questions asked.

        • +22

What is your wife's name? I must try this.

        • My woolies was very anal that my id had to match the name of the person who ordered

    • +1

I used to work at Coles in the online department. The only time we required ID was for purchases containing alcohol. Otherwise, we just ask for a name and signature, but it doesn't need to match the order name.

    Why use this over KINDERLING?
This one isn't even worth posting as far as I can tell.

    • +5

Because some people have already used kinderling these codes are usually 1 time only per account

    • +1

Yeah…why would anyone want multiple single use $20 off codes…not even worth posting.

      • +2

Come on… they didn't know it was single use. It was a legitimate question.

        • +1

Offer can only be used once per customer.

    • some of us have already used the single use KINDERLING, so of course its worth posting.

  • Excellent, on again.

  • Bloody coles still owes me $20 from KINDERLING promo… ><

  • Temporarily unavailable. Bummer, good find OP.

    • Click Frenzy Mayhem starts at 7pm tonight!

      • code active when posted :)

    • change location :)

  • hope the Pale comes back in stock that's a great deal

    • change location :)

      • it will show "Not yet qualified" on order, you call customer service and they will tell u they fix it up when process the transaction. guess what, they didn't, so they give you $20 credit.

Same applies to me with frenzy20 again… fark…

  • A heads up. The Pale Ale contains soy.

As a homebrewer, I am at a loss why you would add soy to a beer. I am thinking it could be a cost cutting exercise or perhaps something to backsweeten the beer (like a lactose alternative). Currently googling around to educate myself.

If anyone brews, what would be your take on adding soy to beer?

    • +1

So, what I have found is… not a lot. Soy lecithin allows for water and oil to mix. But why would you want a beer to have oil? I don't think Little Creatures would be doing this. Asahi were looking at using soybeans as an adjunct to lower costs of beer production (Japan has different taxes for different types of malted brews, think Haposhu and normal beer if you have drunk Japanese beer). Perhaps that? I don't think Little Creatures would be producing a soy based product in their fermenters and then brewing beer…

      Any ideas?

      • Since Kirin bought little creatures i wouldn't be surprised if it is for cost cutting purposes

        • I didn't know they bought Little Creatures. But then, they do own a heap of beer companies. Probably is a cost cutter… Shame as GMO soy in a beer would give you man boobs… wait… that's an IPA that does that.

        • Not my favourite beers but they seem to be doing the opposite of cost-cutting to me. They use truckloads of whole hop flowers while many bigger breweries just use pellets (or even extract, yuck), their own strain of yeast, a longer brewing process, bottle-conditioning, etc.

    • I'm curious, what makes you think it has soy? I've been around their brewery in Geelong and they seem very fastidious about their beer. It seems a bit odd that they would bother going to great lengths over small details - treating their water to make it more like Freo's, bottle conditioning their Pale - and then adding soy?

      • When you look at the ingredients it says contains soy.

        https://shop.coles.com.au/a/a-national/product/little-creatu…

        Allergen… Contains soy.

        • +1

I honestly think that's a Coles mistake. It doesn't say that on the bottle and it would be legally required to.

        • @dazweeja: That makes sense. To be honest, I haven't had a Little Creatures Pale Ale for a while so have no idea what the bottle says. Good to hear that it doesn't state allergens on the bottle. Solves my head scratching about why Soy needs to be in beer. Malt, Hops and Water always does it for me… With the occassional home prepped dark candi sugar chucked into some high % beers.

  • click and collect unavailble for alcohol in queensland? does anyone know a workaround for this code to work? thanks!

    1. If I order today (Specials) and collect tomorrow do I get today's Specials price?
    2. What happens if they are out of stock on some items and your final spend ends up below $100? Do they pro-rata the $20 off?
      Thanks.
    • +1

      (1) You wil be charge the price at whatever it is at the time of ordering- not collecting

      (2) I made a $100 order and $44 of my order was out of stock, meaning it was only $56, they then deducted the whole $20 discount for me and I ended up being charged $36

  • Comes up with "Not yet qualified" if added with free delivery offer.

    • Codes don't stack

      • I did not add any code for free delivery

        • +1

The $20 off using code frenzy 20 will only work if you collect your order .

        • Ya it looks like that, have no other option

        • @jontymate:
If you pay with coles mastercard and spend over $100 you can get free delivery.

        • @Triple J:

I only have the frenzy20 code applied for C&C $100+ and it's still saying "Not yet qualified".

          Anyone have any ideas?

        • +1

          @Rillen:
call them and they will give you $20 credit

      • Used both Frenzy20/frenzy10 and worked for me (but frenzy10 is only for new customer). Only signed up tonight as new customer though.

  • How to change the location to select 'Little Creatures '?
I don't see any buttons on the website.

    • +1

      choose a collection time :)

  • "Liquor is not available for delivery or collection at this time"

this comes up if I choose Richmond, Cremorne and Spotswood for soooo many different times - weekday, weekend.

anyone know how to select a store that allows collection?

    • are you over 18 in your account details?

alcohol can't be collected in the morning and/or from a locker

else richmond south carpark available :)

  • deal updated:

$20 off $100+ Spend @ Coles Online [Click & Collect] eg. Coopers Sparkling Ale 2x24pk $80, Little Creatures Pale Ale 2x24pk $100

  • hey guys, where is the box to enter the coupon code? After the credit card info step?
I could not find it in the shopping cart…

    • yes on the final page when you confirm/place the order :)

  • Last week's code didn't work, but this week's one did. Very inconsistent, but I'm happy. And to think I wasn't going to shop with Coles this week, but their FRENZY20 code bought me back.

  • Hey Anyone knows can I go to pick up later than the time allocate ?

    What will that happen?

    Thanks in advance.

  • I had the same problem with the code not working. Also some of the specials didn't come up as the specials price.

I called and they said they will give me 2 credits, one for the voucher and one to make up for the specials not pricing properly.

Is there a way to check if I have the credits without placing an order? Thanks!

    • Just saw your comment. Thanks:)

I called them, but they said they cannot do a refund yet, until it's delivered. Also she did not offer me any credit for the pricing issue :/

      • Wow that sucks.

Did she say they will fix up the pricing issue later?

They where really helpful for me and I can see the $20 coupon credit + the $50 pricing difference credit now.

I would call again or send an email.

  • My Order got canceled for Little Creatures Pale Ale

    • reason?

if out of stock then had you agreed to substitution?

      • Unavailable and wasnt given any substitutions

        • Just put in an order for LCPA to collect from Richmond.

How long between ordering and the cancellation email?

        • try to re-order - perhaps for elsewhere - and contact customer service if code doesn't work?

        • @tonester:

Everything worked including the code, was just assuming if jonty's was cancelled mine might be to.

Was wondering how many hours between him submitting the order and receiving the cancellation email.

        • @futurenow:

i was replying to @jontymate since it's meant to be a single-use code

i assume the cancellation email was received just before collection time after order picking

        • @tonester:

Success. No cancellation email. Just collected 2 cartons today. Thanks @tonester

  • anyone can help me to fill the promo code? Where we can fill it? I can not see the promotional discounts to enter the code!

  • "Due to Liquor Licensing in Queensland and Tasmania, Coles online is unable to offer liquor in these regions. Liquor is also not available to the Alice Springs area in the Northern Territory"

  • Cheers OP :)

Can use this and get the items delivered for $4 as well if you are flexible with your times.

  • Placed an order with the code to buy some items in bulk since they were on sale (not exceeding max qty). Then was told by Coles in the last minute that the item was out of stock so they had to cancel my order. But when I hit the store and guess what? They have them in stock in large amount (def more than the qty I've ordered). Feeling really disgusted. If they can't afford offering discount don't open the supermarket and let woolies take the market please.
