    any bargains?

      Are you taking over JV?

        • +1

$147 Delivered at The Iconic. Cheapest i could find elsewhere was $179.95

This was also one of the first things i looked at. I believe that constitutes as a bargain?

        • +9

@tuzii: So you are saying the previous price was $175 when it was last on SALE and now the price is $147 which is a further $28 discount and you're still complaining?

        • +9

@tuzii: You are saving 13.33% off the last Iconic Sale price, 15.69% off the current cheapest price and 30% off the retail price. To me that is a great bargain if you were looking to purchase this product and is not the same as the ebay sales.

        • +1

@Mattg: You could avoid all this by posting some bargains in the title or description as suggested in the deal posting guidlines.

        • +3

@Mattg: Don't mind tuzii. Some people just won't drop when it is clear that they are owned. Let the votes be an indicator of how good your post is.

Yeah I'd avoid those brands. I've got a black leather Aldo pair and they've been going strong for well over a year now

      • Bought the aldos from the recent iconic 70% off. Great pair of shoes

no risk of poor quality lenses not blocking as much uv?

        • +2

no, look at the tests comparing them.. ironically some of the cheap ones came out better

        • @laurence: interesting, thanks!

    • Which ones are you looking at?
The one I want is 188 after the discount.
I have been waiting to buy Ray Bans, Do you think there will be a better sale on the Aviators in the near future?

      • Im looking at the Silver Mirror Aviators
        http://www.theiconic.com.au/aviator-mirror-177765.html
        $230 - 30% = $160. Tempted to do the Afterpay on them.

      • I have found a better deal for the Ray Ban Aviators on www.otticanet.com
They are currently 20% off, and if you subscribe to there mailing list, they will send you a 10% off discount code. So those same glasses I linked to early (in the larger size which werent available on The Iconic), are now $138.

        • I just bought one polarized for 137.99 from catch of the day ebay with code CRACKA20.

    • Catchoftheday had the mfor around $120 from memory at Christmas time. I've seen that deal come up before for cheap Aviators..

      • So is it worth it to buy them now?

  • thanks OP got some CK undies cheap

  • Thank you! Great if you are after some Adidas or Nike or Puma etc. Got me a jacket for my bogan-style weekends! Xo

  • Great for grabbing up Wood Wood gear!

  • Some interesting fashion watches. The Komono is a nice clean design, Seiko quartz movement, sapphire coating on domed glass, mesh band, 40mm case and relatively thin at 9mm all for $140 which is good value imo. Their other watches are $56 with discount. Not bad for a fashion watch.

Please don't spend that much on a Chinese fashion watch.

You could buy a nice watch from a reputable watch making company like Seiko (Orient) Citizen, Casio Or Timex for that kind of money. You could even get an automatic.

      • I definitely agree. I have many Orients and Seiko and do appreciate their VFM. The Walther i quoted is more of a want than a need for me. It's hard to find a minimalist bauhaus design with similar specifications for the price. Seiko quartz movement puts my mind at ease somewhat. Whether it's well made i'll find out i suppose.

        • Try rodina (seagull ST) or if you have a slightly higher budget, junker for bauhaus styled

A watch with a mechanical/auto movement has way more character to it. Why buy just for looks, when you can have real engineering for a little more.

        • @avexdevil:
Will check out the Rodina. Looks like great value indeed!

I've just received the Komono Walther. I was kind of curious about the quality and for $140 I'm satisfied with it. It is the definition of a fashion watch but pretty affordable - Looks nice, build quality average.

The dial is a subtle silvery pearlescent finish. The dome glass is very subtle and would need to catch the light to see it. Mesh band is of adequate quality, some sharp edges around the clasp. Build quality is good nothing to complain about or praise. Also has quick release springbars which is nice.

I have a Zeppelin Hindenburg 7060 on the way. Will probably sell the komono.

  • Looking for some belts for men. Don't know which one to choose.

  • Amazing. I placed an order yesterday afternoon and just received it this morning. Will be shopping again!

  • Tried to add the dry red number 8 crumpler bag and used discount but doesn't work.
    Anyone know why?

  • This has been extended for 1 more day.
