A lot of their stuff are quite a bit above standard retail pricing. It's priced so high that even buying from Gerry Harvey would actually be cheaper.

HP Envy 13 flagship laptop costs $ 1,899 (get back $150 voucher) but it retails at MSY for $1499, a total of -$400 less.

HP Pavillion 510 desktop with a ultra low voltage 1.6ghz Pentium proccessor has an eye-watering price tag of $699. It's $398 via HN and that's the 'normal' price. That's -$300.

the budget HP Stream 11 goes for $369 but has been as low as $190 from Harvey Norman (normally, $297)

If you have a work email address then they will give you corporate pricing. Typically that is 30-40% off. Add this on top and you have a huge bargain. I got the top of the range Spectre x360 in January with the highest spec (i7, 16gb, 1tb ssd) reduced to $2269 (from $3399) and then also got the $250 visa card. The Lenovo and Dell deals don't come anywhere near as close in price. The same spec is now down to $2999 so my guess is the corporate pricing could be $1999.

carleast, this is an amazing information! I couldn't believe that corporate discounts are are so awesome and that they exist. Thanks for sharing!

    • How do you get corporate pricing from a work address, do they have a list of businesses that they apply corporate pricing to? Or is there a page to apply?

You just need to find a company that offers this deal to their staff and say you work for them, they don't ask for any proof at all, didn't even ask for an email address. You need to do it over the phone though, I tried on the online chat a few times and had no luck.

Anyway to find out which companies offer it

        • @RogueWolf: I just googled it, think I used an electronics store with a yellow and black theme from memory

It has to be said though. The HP website is probably the worst in the world. It's so difficult to find stuff. And their customer service is woeful.

  • bah, all the new x360 with pen support doesn't have the voucher.

I think it probably does. It's just that the website it so bad that it can only show one offer at a time. Call them (you have to anyway for corporate pricing) and ask. Say you're not spending over $2k unless you get the voucher.

  • I bought a Spectre x360 on 14-May earlier this week. Is it possible to request for the prepaid visa card now? If not, is it then possible to return the laptop and re-buy the laptop to get the prepaid visa card?
