    not active yet

    • only one person needs to buy in order for deal to be active

      • +1

        That's why i didn't neg it.

      • But the rule is that the deal has to be active when you post it here isn't it!

        • -3

if the deal is not active, it's not a bargain, it's just spam…

          • +1

@jv: Yes but it only takes one person to buy it to be active! (so not spam)

            • -2

              @keano1: Yes but….

              Rules are Rules….

Only deals that are active are allowed to be posted on Ozbargain.
              http://www.ozbargain.com.au/wiki/help:deal_posting_guideline…

            • @keano1: I agree with jv. It doesn't matter if it just takes 1 person to make the deal active. What if it needs 2 more people to tip the deal? Can I still post the inactive deal and say it just needs 2 more people? Where do we draw the line?

              • @polkadots610: 1 person to make active = ACTIVE
2 people to make active = you and someone else = NOT ACTIVE

                • @neil: Ah makes sense makes sense! My bad..

                • -1

                  @neil: that is contradictory…

1 person to make active means it is NOT active…

if you want to change the rules, update the guidelines…

                  • +1

@jv: I think your issue is with the way it's phrased. Scoopon should have said 0 bought, ACTIVE. I see why they did it as that is how their website works and makes no sense to change it for one deal.

I'm happy to reword the rule and am open to your suggestion in a way to phrase it.

Scoopon have a corporate suite at MCG?

  • -3

These are going to be very boring games… but i guess some people have money to burn…

    • +1

It wont be boring if you are a Dogs or Swans supporter.

      • -7

        All 7 of them ???

      • Why not Geelong or Dockers? Did you see either The Geelong v Saints or Fremantle v Hawthorn games on the weekend?

        • -2

          ha ha ha…

  • +1

Mod: Thanks for the reports guys. While these deals need to be active before posting, this is probably an exception as it only needs one. In other words, this deal is active. Anyone who buys will get the deal which is why we enabled the rule in the first place.

  • This isn't a great deal

    http://mm.afl.com.au/Portals/0/afl_docs/Events_and_Hospitali…

That links shows Corporate Boxes for week 2 costing $7600 inc F&B therefore costing $475 p.p. not sure where they're getting $907.50 original cost from.

They're not even going to be good games, so wouldn't bother spending that much money to go watch it.

  • It's funny that a few ozbargainers seem to know that the games will not be 'good'.

Perhaps they can also tell us who the winners will be, plus give us the margins. Once we know that and make our bets, we can set up a new website: www.ozbargainmillionaires.com.au.

    I'm writing my resignation now.
