This is one good looking smart watch

  • Nice looking, I got the last black leather band deal. Have just updated to aw2 and sadly still terribly buggy when used with iPhone. Android phones have to be better?

    • Buggy how? I've been using mine with an iPhone 5s for 2 months now and can't really say that any part of it is buggy
And since the AW2 upgrade I'm even happier with the watch tbh
Complications and custom faces for them, really improves the experience

I'm n=1 but whenever i try and download from google play says not connected to wifi. tried multiple networks just as bad. Seems a miracle the one or two times I've actually download something. tried run keeper which basically does nothing with an iPhone, seems to need an android phone for any function. Also now constantly asks me to reconnect and confirm bluetooth password.

Unrelated, interferes with BT car kit to the extent it needs to be in airplane mode to take a call. This is a known bug that still has not been resolved.

Probably the nicest looking smart watch at that price point, but still a disappointing experience.

  • I still cannot decide.
I like the idea of a smart watch, and this is most aesthetically pleasing.

However you are paying close to the price of the Gear S3 from Westpac which is superior (but too bulky for me).

They look so chunky and I wonder if I will quickly become bored of it.
    I never wear a watch…

    Ambivalence, help!! :)

    • The taking off and charging everyday would probably be too inconvenient.

      • Equally, I would probably prefer to not wear it to bed.

IT would be handy to see an important message on the scooter on the long commute (but I could get a cheap knockoff for that purpose).

        • Could consider the wishing steel HR, hybrid style has a bit of best of both worlds. I owned one for a while - showed promise, but again had some minor problems.

    • I know what you mean. I just ordered a Ticwatch. $170USD or so delivered from their website as they have 15% off at the moment. Hoping it will satisfy my smart watch craving. Maybe worth considering the Ticwatch too.

  • HW2 was briefly $230 USD on release

  • Nice to see smart watches getting a lot better looking, this and the gear s3 are looking stylish af
