I turned off my auto-renew with Amaysim and then 5 days before expiry I received a txt offering me 10% off for the next 3 months!

I was originally frustrated with how cheap all the offerings from competitors were getting, and a little annoyed that Amaysim were offering great deals to new customers but nothing for the loyal users. I even messaged them directly about it and their response was "…we always want what’s best for our customers so you should always pick the plan that best suits your needs and wallet." Well, my wallet would like to thank Amaysim for caving once I tried to leave.

  The fact that you received this offer doesn't mean that everyone else will get it by simply turning off auto renewal.
  There was a similar post a couple of years ago and it didn't work for most of the people.
  Worth trying though.
  However, you will be much better off if you switch to another provider.

  Thanks for posting OP, I only just left amaysim. I've jumped ship to Kogan for the year in advance deal. Will see how it goes.

    My family and I left Amaysim too. They are looking for more new customers rather than keeping new customers. The worst of all is that the billing period has shorten from 30 days to 28 days. ie. 13 months payment rather than 12 months payment in a year. Interestingly we are also on Kogan mobile 365 days special offer.

      Agreed. I must admit Amaysim helpdesk/service has always been good for me. But compared to amaysim the kogan value for money is much more attractive now.
