I've had a pair for a while now which I use for watching the tv. I paid around the $40 mark for them and I think they were very good for that price. Good battery life, nice and clear and loud. Comfortable. No connection issues. Bargain at $25.

How does this work - do they come with a bluetooth transmitter? Or does your TV already transmit audio over bluetooth?

      • My tv box has Bluetooth

        • What kind of "tv box" would that be?

        • +1

          @ozhunter68:

          Mi Box.

        • @pete123:
do you by chance have a TV that has built in bluetooth? If so, does it work with the headphone? It is good to know that Mi Box works with this headphone. I have bought one bluetooth headphone but no luck to pair with my TV direct. It is very difficult to return headphone to the store once it opens so haven't dare to buy, try and return.

        • @koala9:

I do have a tv with bluetooth but it doesn't do bluetooth audio, so these don't work.

You might want to look into getting a bluetooth transmitter dongle off of eBay or somewhere. They're about $15 and plug into the audio out of your tv (and powered by the usb plug).

        • @pete123:

Thanks for letting me know. Now, i can give up finding a headphone can direct pair with the TV. The problem with my TV is that it doesn't have a normal audio jack output!!! Only optical audio out. I found that out after bringing home a wireless headphone from a mate to try.

        • @koala9:

You can probably find a bluetooth dongle with optical input. Might cost a little bit more is all.

        • @pete123:

I went with a dongle with RCA audio cable. My smart tv has that. It appears to me that it is pretty difficult to find a dongle that is using bluetooth 4.0 transimitter. One that I like (transmit and receive) is only using bluetooth 2.1! Don't know if it will affect sound transmission. I found one with 4.0 in the end but from a seller with not so good rating. I have had troubles with ebay sellers lately only find out they don't have super good rating. Anyway, they aren't cheap from Oz sellers so maybe i can convince myself to buy a Mi box. :)

        • @koala9:

It got me interested and I decided to grab one of these to see how it goes. It's supposed to work with two sets of headphones at the same time.

          http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Bluetooth-Transmitter-Dual-Stream…

It's coming from China so if I remember by the time it arrives, I'll let you know if it's any good.

        • @pete123:

I bought the dongle from aussie seller on ebay so it arrived this week. Similar to this one:

          http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/182516324014?_trksid=p2060353.m27…

Excitement didn't last long. Unfortunately, my mistake for not checking carefull! The RCA is AV IN ONLY!! So it looks like I have to sell this off somehow because my TV only has an digital audio output only. :(

I look on ebay and see that the one you bought would be suitable. Please do let me know how it goes. Whether it connects OK and no delay. Message me (in a month i reckon).

I bought the headphone and so far OK other than it drops out every now and then. Once i restart, reconnect. All good.

        • @koala9:

It finally arrived. Works great. Comes with all the plugs, I've got the optical audio in the back of the tv and I'm powering it with the TV's usb plug. Nice and clear. Good lip sync.

No problem connecting, although it takes about a minute before they connect up. I'm not sure if that's the headphones, the bluetooth transmitter or both.

I've only tried it with one set of headphones at this point.

only just saw this. Thank you for your feedback. I couldn't find trustworthy feedbacks about these products on the internet. It is a good to have a trustworthy one here! After my two failed attempts, I was very careful about buying another one especially if it has to come from china. I have had bad experience with delivery time with ebay china/HK sellers lately (1 item took 6 months, the other took 3 months). In any case, after my mate told me about aliexpress which the sellers tend to ship with faster method, I took the chance and got one from there instead. A different model.
          Aliexpress

It came ~2 weeks. Got it yesterday and it works! No lip sync issue. Pairing order has to be BT on first and then device in my case. Connection was quick if i did this. Otherwise, it paired but no sound. The sound is better than i thought for a BT connection. I watched online video with this headphone using PC BT connection, the sound quality is pretty bad. I regretted to buy this headphone at that point — what did i expect from a cheap headphone?!? Judging from this experience, I reckon the sound quality is affected by both transmitter and receiver.

    • Nice try buddy. This one is shipped from Australia with 12 months Australian warranty

Anyone know how these compare to the Aldi ones from March this year? (Other than being $15 cheaper). Mainly interested to hear about comfort and phone call functionality and clarity. I'm impressed with the Aldi ones but they start hurting my ears after about 2 - 3 hours of daily wear.

  • Can we get the T3s again? My partner likes my pair and wants her own.

I'll pass your request to the rep

  • Does anyone know how these would go for running?

    • +6

how these would go for running

Not well, they don't have legs.

      • +1

I tried so hard to phrase that question to avoid being trolled, yet still failed :(

    • +1

I think they'd be too loose.

    • I bought a pair similar to these from GearBest, for around the same price, and they go alright…battery is small but it's enough for a couple of sessions at the gym.

      • Cool find mate. I had the Xiaomi Wireless ones which cost me $50. 6 months later and they're dust collectors, just won't turn on. How long have you had yours for?

        • +1

Not too long, they seem to hold up alright, the control thingo is a bit flimsy but the sound quality is surprisingly good. I use my phone for volume / input selection as opposed to the device, and it seems to go OK. For $10 I can't complain, and if they last 6 months I'll be happy.

  • sorry, it is listed $38.99. I don't see ~$25. Did i miss something here?

    • Discount shows in cart.

      • Yes, tried that but it is only 5% off. :( No where near ~$25.

        • Screenshot $25.34.

C5OZ only works for purchases greater than $30 so you would have to add more stuff to your cart. Not sure if that's the issue.

        • @neil:

Oh..i think i got it. When i looked at it last night, it was advertised as further 35% off. I didn't see it just now. Let me try again since you show me the screenshot. Thanks.

Edit: OK, don't know how to upload a file. New here. Apparently two offers are currently available from the same seller. One is save $5 for 2 items. The other is 35%. Just have to find the right link for the 35% offer.

  • ozbargained?? Says 0 in stock for all colours.

    • Says more than 0 available in stock which is their strange way of saying they have stock. You can add to cart and checkout.

      • Thanks, I just tried and appears to work including C5OZ.

  • Can I use it with iPhone 6?

    • And iPad Air? Thanks.

      • I know this is a late reply. yes
