Excellent monitors, and there is little difference between the two models, so you'll be happy with them.

I have two of these side-by-side - twin 1440p is awesome.
+1 - the only difference is sitting a few cm closer for the same viewing angle and resolution.

I was after a u2717d but then decided on the aoc 4k due to Price (and relatively good reviews). Now this is about the same bloody Price.

I got a 2013/2014 version of the 27" ultra sharp and its great. Gonna see if they have another 2 in stock so i can use it as triple display LOL

Last time I was after an U2417H but whole stock was sold as soon as live chat started, and there was more than 20 of them.
I've bought two refurb monitors from Dell. Was happy with the first one, but the second one I got had issues with some colours.. So I sent it back and got a replacement with a different issue (OSD buttons were getting stuck). The second replacement they sent seemed alright for a month on so, but then also started showing its defective buttons — monitor menu shows up when nothing is touching the buttons. So I guess it's a hit and miss scenario with these refurb monitors.
This is why I always buy Dell screens with their original 3 year warranty, in-place of the 1 year Dell DFO stock.
Don't mind risking this with their cheaper <$200 screens, but with their higher-end models you'd be better off with the full warranty.
I send an email to request either the U3415W or U2717D. They said they hold one for me without telling me WHICH one. I hope it is for the U3415W. Any of you secure the U3415W?

I have one of these refurbished ones. No dramas. Almost like new. But there's only one left so it's probably already gone.
If you want further piece of mind get this for an extra $22. It's still the same 1 year warranty though.

Are there much difference between the U2417H and P2417H apart from the U2417 being factory calibrated and having thin bezel. Just wondering whether the $70 difference is worth it.

I paid for the U2715H & received the U2415. So now, I have to send back the U24 & receive a full refund as they do not have any U27s left. Just my bad luck after trying my luck here for over 3 months. All I need is something for the office that supports daisy chaining via DP 1.2 & is 23" & above. Is that so hard!

Yes and no. I gave up, checked it after a few days in the arvo, then bingo!
