  Not bad value actually. It's $50 dollars cheaper than Core i5-7400, which is one gen newer and has the same clock / turbo speeds.

  One thing to note is that Xeons have no iGPU, so if you build a PC with this you'll need a dGPU to have video.

      It's the same socket. Usually it's limited to motherboard firmware support. PCCG usually have a Xeon bundle going on which is what I would get if I ever stopped supporting the same PC I've had for years.

  ~10 Mh/s for eth. You can get 4 for the price of one 480 hence twice the hash rate for the same price. Pretty good deal!

      Assuming 500W power consumption @ 26c per kW/h then you will make an apprx profit of $160/month hence it will only take 2.5 months to break even. Pretty good investment imo.

    No. This requires a LGA 1151 socket, while the HP Micro is a LGA 1155.
