Great Deals on the Sol republic headphones! Thanks :D

Love SOL, I have my original V8's from when they first released, last month broke the cable, new replacement on eBay for $6, and back up and running :)!

      • Amazon reviews are quite the opposite with most breaking down in a month. Buy or not?

        • Amazon for these Bluetooth ones? I have V8, which are just traditional 3.5mm headphones with inline mic. Can't comment on the exact model op posted.

can you show me where you got the replacement cable? my v10 cable also stopped working a few weeks ago

        • How long did it last?

        • +2

@brokeunistudent: bought them at the end of 2015 so about 1.5 years. Left side stopped working so I thought it was the actual headphone that was broken, but then I tried the right cable into the left side and it was working

i buy a new one every 4-5 months on ebay. got this one just last week - good quality.

        • Yeah mine was a cheap one from China like what bards linked. I bought one without inline mic as wanted just plan stereo 3.5mm plug.

  • Thanks

  • Lightning docks in black/silver sold out

    • All of them have sold out :(

      • I picked up a couple, I assumed that these are the Apple Lightning Docks? I've bought other accessories like the Leather and Silicon cases that were Apple from the Telstra store, but the lack of images for this listing made it hard to judge.

        • Yeah they are the Apple ones that retail for $75. But you're right even I wasn't sure if they were Apple branded or 3rd party as the description was very vague but I later figured it in the listing details "Brand: APPLE"

        • @marzbar:

Good to hear, big benefit for me is the headphone out port. I have a Belkin dock, and I can't use my 3.5mm speakers whilst in the dock, but now I will be able to.

Kmart selling lightning dock for $5 and heaps of it in store

Homebrand dock won't be as good as genuine I assume.

      • Check the dock reviews on Apple's website.

      • Hmmmm 🤔🤔🤔
        Ok😂

        Done any comparison?

    • cheers - will have a look:

Do you have one ? - Wondering how it goes with thickish case

      • +1

It works fine.. just sort of an adapter.. you still need to connect it to charger with your regular lightning cable.

It's from kmart, you can return anytime if doesn't work well for you and it's only $5!! Hahahaha

        Enjoy mate

        • Cheers - might be good for my desk
Won't work too well next to bed as I listen to music at night via corded headphone - but for $5, I could drill into it :P

        • @SnakeDoctor:

          👍👍👍

          Yeah, $5 vs $22…

    • Suitable for: iPhone 5/5S, iPhone 6/6 Plus, smartphones and iPods with a lightning connection

Question. Will this work for iPhone 7 plus?

      • Ip7 plus uses lightning ?

        • No idea actually
