Can't go wrong with Miele, I've got the C3 Cat and Dog.It's a fantastic vacuum. I'd recommend these to anyone that is after, impressive performance, high quality and functionality from a vacuum cos these come up top of the list for me. Had mine a year….. can't fault it.

    • Had mine for 9yrs now (Bms5360)….cant fault it either.

      • My Miele vaccumm cleaner recently died after 7 years of use, how long is Miele warranty for?

      • My big green Miele cat and dog is at least 12 years old and is still going strong.

    • +1

Difference between this and the Cat and Dog?

      • +1

This doesn't come with the turbo brush or anti odour filter

    • Got the same.

      Misses loves it.

Was a total gun cleaning the car.

  • This compared to dyson?

    • +6

I replaced a dyson upright with one of these and would never go back.

    • +6

I had a friend that worked in a vaccum shop he said he'd choose Miele over Dyson any day

    • +6

Much better than a Dyson in my opinion.

    • Can't comment on the barrel types but the only Dyson model I would spend on is their vac sticks. Got the V6, vacuuming doesn't seem like a chore when you can just pick up the device and go without handling power chords and heavy barrels (just remember to charge it up after each use)

    • +7

If you want to impress your friends, buy a dyson. If you want to clean your carpets, buy a miele.

Family has had one for ages, decent vacuum and suction is very powerful at max setting.

    • not sure why someone would neg this

      • +1

not sure why someone negged you, have a +1

  • Once I go cordless I cannot go back to ides vacuum. I forked out $680 for my v8. But the one you posted look pretty sturdy and durable.

Miele over Dyson any day. Mine still sucks as hard as Sasha Grey after 7 years of constant use.

    • She'd probably be tired after 7 years of that. Constantly!

  • We have had a Miele C3 for about a year now. Thoroughly recommend them. Quality German product.

    does this give good succc?

  • Need help deciding between the C3 All-Rounder or the Hardfloor. All rounder has 2000W but doesn't have HEPA. Hardfloor has 1200W and HEPA. No idea if the different heads make a difference.

My house has all polish wood except for one rug. We have a baby on the way and want the place dust free. I have tried Dyson V6 with turbohead and Samsung Robovac. None of them really get rid of stubborn dust.

    Advice much appreciated. Thank you!

    • Hepa filter can be used surf any model
Hardfloor mop head can be bought sepertely and used with any model.
Go to a store and test them out. Also check YouTube to see which one is more fit for purpose.
      Got cat & dog c3.

    • I have the all rounder and polished boards unless suction is turned down 2 fifths the head gets sucked to floor, so the purpose h/f head must be better, full suction is great for the edges using the crevice tool.would like a h/f head but don't want to pay 70 bucks for something worth 10. Your welcome to come over and try but you gotta do whole house

    • Thank you for the comments. Will probably get the all rounder (for the 2000W motor) and buy the HEPA separately.

    • The input energy often has little relation to performance and is raised to impress ignorant people with large numbers that infer performance.

Still needs a dust bag… and still has a cord…

Reliable it may be, but not future proof in my opinion.

    • +5

Reliability? I know They're still making bags for 11 year old mieles so you've got at least 11 years up your sleeve. The power cord is quite concerning though, I was reading an article yesterday saying they're phasing out power points over the next few years to be replaced with generators that run on bullshit. I see you've already 'upgraded'.

      • -1

Is that why you ditched your mobile phone for a corded phone, grandpa?

        • +1

          Whoa, great comeback!

  • OP or anyone else just wondering to utilise the amex cashback and cashrewards.

would i have to buy a gift card using my amex and then go on cashrewards use the giftcard and purchase it online?

    • yes, you'd have to go instore to buy the physical giftcards, make sure you buy it at the stores listed to be part of the promo.

then yes go buy it via CR

do people still use wired vaccum cleaner?

    • People still vacuum?

    • +2

even though miele got better vacuums dyson, V6 and V8 handhelds make the wired vacuuming obsolete.

  • if anyone is still looking, there's 1 left at Miranda

  • Thanks for the deal. Will finally have a good vac instead of ones that seem to blow everything away and clog up. Cheers.

  • anyone has the miele C1? reviews please? seems pretty good deal too

  • We have one of these at work which I found in a cupboard forgotten about, it uses bags but this has some serious power. Brilliant vacuum compared to the electrolux bagless replacement which is horrid. Only neg is that these bags are woven plastic, not paper based (environmental) you can pull out the flap before installing the bag and get 2-3 uses from one though.

    • Can you pull out the gunk and reuse the bag? Didnt know it was plastic..

      • It's like a plastic material, kinda like a sports top. I could be wrong but it's very plastic fabric but I'm not gonna melt it to find out!

Rip out the spring loaded flap before you install it. You'll need to pull the guff out the small hole, tedious and messy but OK when you are down to tbe second to last bag.
