I've used TID many times, and though I've never needed to claim anything, it's definitely great value!

For anything over $100 (i.e. US trips) then the 10% guy is handy, they don't seem to happen as often as the $10 off ones for some reason…
Suggest you check around TID isnt as cheap as it used to be. On an up coming trip I found Downunder insurance better and it has moneybackco rebate of 10%
Hi mate thanks for this code, saved me 10% off my next trip. I compared the rates against Downunder Insurance, and Even though Downunder insurance was CHEAPER BEFORE the 10% code, their policy benefits arent as good as TDI insurance. So i got my insurance cheaper than downunder by $5.00 and with a better policy too (in terms of $ amounts you can claim incase things go wrong)
Well glad it was cheaper for you. I found the rates even better than that but maybe that depends on age and where you are travelling to, other limits like age etc and what your needs are. As well you do get 10-11% back from Moneybackco if you are a member.
In my case the TID direct quote for 3 weeks to USA (Worldwide was $349 - then $35 for 10% off - $314) vs $355 with 11% back - $315) but difference is that my policy is worldwide for a year vs the 3 weeks. (3weeks cover = $226.58 less the 11%) this was for two people - also TID prices increase for travellers over 49
The features of TID have more like car rental insurance excess cover which I dont need, and you may. Although $3K cover adds $14 to DUI
So much of this will depend on what you need.
Whatever, if you have checked at least now you know you are getting a bargain.
