Signed up for the offer by Axelstrife, only to be greeted at home after a long overnight double shift of this in the mail. I am fuming right now. Hopefully it helps others who have not yet joined. The expiry dates seem to be further from the previous one. Bonus points will be added to account within 10 business days.

    Yeah, i am getting the same error too, though tried 3 times. It is not worth registering coz last time i did register with 3 different mail addresses, and nothing free got credited to my card from woolworths…

  • I think these are unique links that can only be used once. First person gets through, and the rest get the weird messaging.

    [UPDATE] ok typed in the offer URL directly and was able to register but also got the error on email confirmation. Used all green sign up info, new device, new IP address. Either their system is crap or too smart…

      Solved: don't use Chrome. Works on Edge fine.

    • This happens if you have your adblocker enabled. It's blocking some javascript which allows that to render properly.

    thanks OP for the post - have been debating whether to join and this was a decent incentive

    however i am also getting error
    i get through sign up fine and receive an email however email link goes to "Sorry, we have experienced a technical error. Click here to complete the registration again."

    nb:
    i have never signed up before
    am using hotmail adddress via edge
    have tried twice - second time via incognito mode

    i even tried copying and pasting the links from email into browser [tried edge, edge incognito and chrome incognito] rather than just clicking the verify button and all get same error

    • Same problems, tried gmail, student email and yahoo. Tried with Edge and Chrome on PC and Android. Maybe their servers are getting Ozbargained.

      • i noticed in the other thread [linked some posts above] with same issues that some received their welcome email anyway even though had the error
        so i will wait awhile and see if anything comes through later

  • My two cents worth. Had the same issues about an hour or two ago with gmail.

    Waited til now, and I no longer get the error message when I click the verification link.

      No, it's $15. 2000 is $10 off a shop.

        Its really only $12.50 or $11.87 if you normally pay with 5% discounted gift cards.

    In some ways the 2000 point deal is better as you can use all the points in just 1 transaction. With this you have 500 left over and can't really use them unless you keep the card.

    I got a technical error when I tried to sign up using the Axelstrife's offer. This time (using the same address) I confirmed my email address by copying and pasting the url they provide instead of clicking on the link. Might work for people experiencing an issue.

  • Confirmation seemingly failed on my Gmail, then the confirmation email came through later. Also succeeded on the work email I used because Gmail wasn't working. Can points be easily transferred to Qantas?

  • no welcome email but today tried to click on the verification link in email again, and it now said something along the line of 'oops you've already verified - sign in'

    anyone know how to ensure you get the bonus points? i know OP says in 10 business days but should there be something in the account to say you will get them?
    or do i just have to wait?
    curious due to the technical issues and having no welcome email.

    okey, minutes after signing in i received the welcome email
    nothing in email about the bonus points
    guess i just have to wait and see

    • got my bonus points during the past week and already had $10 taken off last shop (had wanted to put it over to save for xmas but it wouldn't let me when i thought of it, then i forgot to try again before i did the shopping…but anyway the other 500 points is on 'save' now).

      physical card turned up in mail yesterday.

      so both points and the card came quicker than anticipated which is great.

  • I signed up for two accounts (both my kids). The points were then credited to my account. When I tried to spend the "Woolworths Dollars" this weekend, I discovered there was no balance on either card. Logged in again and saw that both cards have been defrauded of their points on 18 July at "Bundoora" — presume that's a Woolworths. I can only assume someone in the Woolworths mailhouse that sent out the cards has stolen the details. This is obviously the problem with having a "dollars" system that doesn't require a PIN like Flybuys does. Very annoyed. Woolworths has a live chat option for Woolworths Rewards but an agent seemingly never gets assigned.
