Haven't had issues on my Nexus 6p…
I've been using this app since release quite frequently on my Nexus 6P and it is honestly the most unstable app I've ever used. Freezes, crashes, endless polling, account always drops out requiring relogin, offers disappear before expiry without use, GPS doesn't refresh fast enough for pickup, just to name a few. I've uninstalled and reinstalled at least 30 times since release. It just flat out sucks.
I have had it "freeze" upon loading the menu, but after giving it 10 seconds, it came up and I was able to proceed normally. Haven't had any of the other issues. I think when it updates my login details get wiped out, but that's a minor inconvenience at best.
Nexus 6P with 5/6 of the same issues here. Can't say I've reinstalled it more than once though.
LG V20 (yes, from the deals here!) and I get the same issues. Right now it simply refuses to load anything in the ordering menu except for snacks and fries - GAH!
I would like to add that clearing the data (App Info > Storage > Clear Data) for the app got it to a working state again. Still slow and temperamental but at least it works.
The App is crap for everyone regardless of your phone.
They should have just outsourced it like KFC did with NCR, it works 99% of the time.
Not being able to pay in store like KFC is a missing element. How people trust Macca's with credit card details when the App fails so often is beyond me.
If a payment declines in drive thru, or at customers request, payment can be made on the spot.
So use false credit card details? If that's legal.
When you click I'm here it charges you, so you have no option of customer request unless your payment is declined.
Seems a rather lame way of paying in store, when they could have that option in the App.

I'm in WA, initially it was showing full price for me but after going in and out of the McNuggets section a couple of times it refreshed and now there is a Golden Meal tab with the 6pc for $5.00
My local store is set to North Perth if that makes any difference. Should be nationwide though.

Spent an hour struggling with the app. New update killed it. Ended up paying $6 for this via the helpful manager on duty. Apparently a gps spoofer can solve the problem
So how do I use the drive through take away feature?
Anyone having problem with the app? I could not order anything from it since I downloaded it weeks ago. The menu page would forever be loading and stuck on that. Even though it's updated. Useless crap.
every time they update the menu it breaks the app on my android phone. go into settings —> apps —> find the app (called "ordering" in mine) and hit clear data. once you open the app it will make you login again and when you go to order hit the menu and pick "ordering menu" which triggers it to re-download the menu data. thats how I get it back (you can also uninstall and re-install the whole app but that takes longer)

I recently downloaded the app on my phone (Android) to see what discounts they had etc, and it loads, shows me the red MyMaccas screen, then goes to a page with 3 pictures at the top, and 2 blank buttons at the bottom.
I tried clicking one of the buttons, and it took me to what I'm guessing was a screen asking where my local maccas was? I couldn't tell though, because there's no writing visible ANYWHERE in the app at all. I fumbled my way through a few different screens, but no text anywhere. Eventually I found the sidebar menu, and there was text, so I clicked on the one to order from the menu, and it just loaded a completely blank screen.
For an app that was a 79MB download, there sure was a whole lot of nothing in it :|It loads extra data after you have installed the App.
So if you see blanks, just leave it sit there until you see "Updating Product information" or something like that. Best if you do it on WiFi, I've seen it chew a lot of data.
Apart from the Golden Meal, which you can find out from this website, there is no reason to use the App.
You can customize your burger/meal on the touch screen in store.

Used it once. Next time I opened the app it basically gave my phone an aneurysm complaining about how much it was restarting the app/slowing down my phone.

Email 16/6 says "You've only got until 22nd June to find the next Golden Meal hidden in our mobile menu."
So tried today and there is none, including this nugget one being $8.75 for a small meal
