Only if you're using it for a small batch of food.
It depends. These mini ovens usually have no insulation, so they waste a lot of heat (power). But they have much less powerful heating element than a wall oven.
So:
if you run both at max power for 5 minutes, the mini oven will use less power
if you bake something for 3 hours at 180 deg C, mini oven will use more powerif you bake something for 3 hours at 180 deg C, mini oven will use more power
Who will use it to bake for 3 hours :p

I have an old one from Kmart need a new replacement.
We use it a lot for breakfast, I think nobody want to turn on a big oven for that.

Agreed. I use an airfryer to make breakfast. Cook sausages and pies etc.
Very useful. Only problem is the amount of space it takes up. So many appliances, so little room :(
