Important Note from Oppo Representative on Whirlpool forums

"The network bands are locked on the Optus F1s to the ones that Optus uses. The network band lock will remain even after an unlock code is supplied by Optus to let you use other carriers. Just wanted this information to be out there so everyone can choose which is the most suitable option before purchase!"

      I tested my partner's​ F1 (old model) with Android Auto and the audio was all staticy.

      I then Googled if this newer F1S had the same problem. From what I read, it simply doesn't work at all.

      Would love to be told otherwise.

        The app certainly works, but that's just loosely related. Now I'm not sure if to hack the wife's Mazda to enable Android Auto.

        Yeah, I'm sure the app would load. The issue is USB screen mirroring.

  Went to Big W on Friday..This was in QV in Melb. It was supposed to have been in store in Thursday but they said they were out of stock. Weird.

  Picked one of these up .. very good value for a locally stocked, 3G Ram $200 handset.
  Band limitation one downside, but if you are optus, excellent value.
