Thanks OP! Very relevant for me at the moment. Been trying to work out how to put the Sub and a Playbar to my Projector. (Have some vouchers to use too). I have ordered a 4-1 HDMI switch with optical audio out so hoping that connects to the Playbar and then it's all good from there. Anyone have experience with that?

    Just trying to see if the switch with output works first so I won't have to buy a receiver. Currently have the Muteki 7.2 setup and will need to sell the receiver with it

  I would also go into a retailer such as VideoPro, also running a promo at present, and see if they'll do you a better deal.
