          It's tough, hit and miss, I've managed to buy converses but they're not that comfortable but fit, granted I have big feet and also very wide feet too.

          Currently wearing some new balance shoes, but even then it's not that comfortable.

          What I suffer from sucks:

          • Big size feet
          • Wide feet
          • Extremely flat feet.

      Wear my stans every time I go clubbing, look good, comfortable enough and clean with a wet wipe because of the leather. Would recommend.

    Good deal! Just personal taste, but I find this shoe bland. Too much white, not enough colour. Best worn with shorts, in my view.

    Stan Smith is a former world No.1 tennis player. Smith won two major singles titles - the 1971 US Open (over Jan Kodeš in the final), and 1972 Wimbledon (over Ilie Năstase in the final).

    Sizing is odd, as usually US sizes are one size larger than UK/Aus sizes (ie usually I wear size 12 US/11 UK). The website shows these as being the same size in US/Aus, so not sure whether I should order my normal size (12 US, which also shows as 12 Aus?), or err on the side of caution and get 11 US/Aus…

      Considering Australia uses US shoe sizes for most shoes I'm not quite sure what you're getting at.

        We (Australia) actually use our own sizing system. Men's shoes are generally the same as the UK (which are a size smaller than US). Aus women's shoes sizing are their own beast (somewhere in between US and UK… kinda… sometimes).

          Buying online, query the EU size as a guide as well.

          My recent Australian-seller online purchase of "Size 10" had UK 9.5, US 10, EU 44 AND 28CM stuck on the box. Interesting there was only half a size between UK and US.

          @pcox: Shoe sizing is basically arbitrary, coming from age-old measurements drawn from the size of objects in nature - barleycorns for one. It differs between countries AND manufacturers. Some measure the outside of the shoe, some measure the last (the form the shoe is made one). It's the suckiest thing about buying shoes online. You can really only be 100% of sizing by trying the shoe on… then promptly leaving the store and buying it online for half the price.

          Noted and cheers, I didn't go that far of trying them on in the shop but did purchase a brand I've worn in the past. It was the last pair available in one size only, so worth the risk (and scoring 15% off courtesy of Wednesday ebay as mentioned here!)

      The "Sizing Guide" is a bit confusing.
      When you click on the size drop down box, you will notice the US size is actually one size larger - as you notice it also writes (in lighter colour) AU size.

      Just to note adidas is only half size bigger in US sizing. For example a UK10 is US10.5.
      But with Nike it is a full size bigger so UK10 is a US11.

    Wow this is an insane price. Great shoe, made from actual leather, which means compared to most white sneakers you can keep them clean. I paid 120 a while back and i dont regret it.

      Actually, the pink one is the "Vintage" model with better leather and a different tongue (not as bulky). Very good price as they usually to go for $30 more than the standard Stan Smiths.

    Ive had these shoes for abit, the worst thing about them is the white laces getting dirty and leather can get scuffed from bicycle or motorcycle riding or even after a night out. Overall pretty good fit and quite happy with them and they sure held up ok. Although the downer.. and that is that it's becoming quite popular and everyone seems to wear it nowadays

    Got mine today, ordered a size down as per the comments here but bloody hell they are a narrow shoe!
    They are long enough but barely wide enough for my feet.
