Attempting my first post at Ozbargain (after gaining so much from the rest), hoping I won't get flamed for this!

Anyway saw this featured in The Age's Epicure on Tuesday-

It's Trivelli Cake Shop's 35th Anniversary this Saturday and they're offering their renowned cannolis at $0.70 each (!!) The promotion is to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Giuseppe and Michela Campisi's first purchase of the shop. His daughter (Grace Marchitto) and husband Paul have carried on the family tradition since Giuseppe's death in 2006.

Did a brief google search and found overall good reviews on their stuff. I know the offer is not active yet but apparently the shop is taking orders for the cannoli to be collected on the day.

    Holy Cannoli @ $0.70 each my wife and kids are going to have visit me in hospital from "cannoli overdose"!!

      Quality Cannoli don't come cheap, at that price I will be there nice an early to beat the rush and snap up a couple of dozen - yes you heard right 24 canolli, in my Italian culture we are well trained cannoli Connoisseur! ;-)

    Has anyone here tried the cannolis before? It's quite a journey for me to get there so I'm just wondering if it's worth the trip.

    I went there this morning and there was a pretty long queue. Thank goodness I called and pre-ordered. Didn't have to queue! PHEW(: Thanks for the post OP!
