  • nice deal!

  • Looks pretty good! Unless prices have changed drastically in the last few months that's a good price for 58" even without the 3D. Seems like just yesterday anything over 50" was >$4000. How things have changed. 3D has been the greatest thing for TV prices whether you want 3D or not.

  • Good deal once again, ELJO! Any special deals on fridges anytime soon? I'm in the market for one right now. :)

So you got the same TV with 5 pairs of glasses for $2,400? Which Good guys?

      • It was good guys casula it will really be 7 pairs once samsung send me the other pack.
i got one pair in the box and they gave me two sets of 2pairs and monstervs aliens packs

  • +7

Alright guys, we've taken into account your comments and dropped the price by a further $50…

Its now only $2349 with free shipping to Melbourne Metro

  • I really like how eljo work, you got to give them some credit for this! :)

So we have had the 50" Sammy, now the 58" sammy, what about the 63" Sammy?

  • Hey Twisty,

We've finally got actual stock of the 63's after filling all our backorders… however we wont be running a special deal on the 63's (More special then our listed price - which is already pretty low) as they are a liability when it comes to shipping. They're just too big…

Good job, but I'm still waiting for you guys to come up with lcd/led deals.. :p

hey guys feel free to let us know any particular models you might be interested in getting a special on and i'll sit down with our distributors next weekn and see what we can do.

Always interested to hear what models you guys want.

    • I know you said you didn't want to do a deal on the 63" Samsung but I know lots of people are interested in this. If you can get it down to the $3200 mark I am sure you would sell lots!

    • The Samsung UA65C8000 Series 8 65inch 3D LED TV for under $5,000 would interest me.
Throw in the Samsung HT-C6950W 3D Blu-Ray 7.1 Channel 1330W RMS Home Theatre System for a $5,000 package and I'm sold.

  • panasonic v20 42inch or 50inch please!! =]

Does anyone know if there is any 3D 32" led lcd tv's yet?

I want one to use for my pc @ 120hz XD

    • Dont think so mate, smallest I have seen is 40"

      • Samsung 32" LED 3D TV's will hit the market next year acording to online tech press sites "why next year" no idea but after looking online for about 6 months for a 32" LED 3D tv to use as my new PC monitor its looking like im going to have to wait until 2011.

But at least its coming. In 2012 "ALL TV's from ALL manufacture in all size's will be 3D capable.

  • Be wary of Samsung plasmas- I will never ever buy one again.
I have had lots of trouble with mine and Samsung after sales service is also non existent.

    • What problems? Buzzing? or this - http://dl.dropbox.com/u/7199106/IMG_0489.JPG

      • What's the problem with that pic?

      • Yeah it get's those lines and buzzes. Before it got repaired it used to switches itself off, sometimes didn't switch on at all, blotchy blacks… Samsung just doesn't care it.

Spend a little bit more and get a Panasonic.

        • +1

Yep, exactly. Samsung honestly don't believe in after sales service. I've had horrendous experiences on numerous occasions with them. Pay a litte bit more and get a Panasonic unless you don't mind being given the runarounds or waiting TV-less for 3 months.

If you must buy Samsung, buy extended warranty and then pray that you somehow see off their one year warranty.

        • dont forget the Panasonic V20 series buzz aswell……and the after sales service is not a great deal better.

you should buy what looks best…whoever it may be

  • At the moment the smallest is 40", however Sony has been talking about releasing one, no ETA yet though.

  • I just got a 50" version of this and its amazing.
3D Playstation games at 50" yeahhhh

  • Is plasma good for 3D TV? A little bit concerned with plasma's flickering

    • Works great, to my eyes Plasma seems to work better on motion and burn in doesnt appear to be a problem anymore (not that im going to toy around to test it)

  • Hi Lauthor,

In my opinion the Samsung Plasma's are great and good for 3D as well. Havent noticed any flickering issues when wathing 3D on it when we were demoing it.

  • panasonic 3d please

  • No option for extended warranty?

  • Extended Warranties are available, for some reason they are not showing up on the page, I'll get our web guy to fix it asap, but if you do wish to get one just send an email to [email protected] and we can add it to your order.

  • Thanks Jmg146, I've sent out an email already. Can you also tell me how big the tv is horizontally. I'm trying to figure out if it fit in where I want it to. Cheers

  • great deal, nice tv :) but i'm waiting for a 70" Colour LED 3D (backlit not edge lit) TV to come out. The ones we have now are not good enough for me. im picky lol

samsung seris 6, led would be nice
    46 inch!

    Hey Guys,

Just letting you know that we've made a note of all the requests for specials and we're in talks now with our distributor about organising a special Ozbargain deal for one of the Panasonic 3D TV's, nothing is locked in yet but we're going to spend the weekend trying to work it out and see if we can get a good enough price for all of you.

Keep posted on Ozbargain next week because we might just have a special again next week. Fingers Crossed.

    Have a good weekend everybody.

    Regards,

    ELJO

  • yeah what djones said, samsung series 6 led 46

anything on that would be great!

  • Received my 50" Samsung from Eljo earlier this week. I struggled getting it up the stairs and onto the cabinet. I don't think I could have managed 58"! If you buy the 58" make sure you have a friend to help you install it.

  • Don't worry brother your going to get back muscle from doing that

  • nice deal :) how about special deal for yamaha 294 hometheater system?

  • Eljo didn't respond to my offer to match another online price and so I went haggled with JB and got it for $2470 delivered with 5 year warranty.

Prayer to God - please please please let the TV see out the first year with no problems and save me from the evils of Samsung "warranty".

  • Hello i am interested in buying this if it's still for sale Thursday. How long would it take to be shipped to Sydney? And what happens if its damaged in the way? Thankyou

  • I was hoping for a response by today. Instead i had to purchase this same tv from 2nds World. I got it for $2700 with a 3 year warranty delivered to my doorstep with free blue ray and 4 pairs of glasses. Next time i would love at least a response.

  • Eljo are a joke when it comes to sales service. Rather than have the common decency to respond to customer queries, they choose to be snobs. Mobs like JB are a much better option as you at least have a person you can deal with. And besides they are more willing to do deals - just gotta do your research before hand. People on Whirlpool have picked up this TV for $2100 with no obligation to pickup extras. I got mine for that much too, and got a discounted rate of $300 for the warranty, and they even threw in a 3D starter pack (1 3d movie + two glasses) for free - didn't even need to ask………..
