    That's a great price for the i3 nuc's.
Now i just need an excuse….

  • +1

Rep do these come with a tax invoice and include GST listed? Also this is AUS stock?

    • +2

      Yes, yes and yes :)

  • The image of the first spectre listed is the old model.

  • +1

This sounds like a really good price for the HP Omen….mmmmmm

    • Does the Omen have G-sync?

      • +1

According to the product page here and review here it seems to.

        • cool thanks, so tempting

  • I can vouch for the model - HP [1HP16PA] Spectre X360 i7-7500U 16GB 512SSD 13.3FHD Touch

Its my current laptop and easily the best laptop I've owned. It is SERIOUSLY a great laptop at the price point.

The screen is nice and crisp, design aesthetic/form factor is lux and performance can't be found on a hybrid laptop for $1800.
Battery can get a good 9-10 hours of reasonable use.

The touch screen is great and punches weight with other touch screens on the market.

The build is nice and well weighted, the keyboard has good feedback and the B+O tuned sound is REALLY GOOD.

As an aside, I purchased laptop from HP store and it said it only came with AC adapter and sleeve (like this advert). However, it also ended up being packaged with HP Stylus and USB-C to HDMI adapter (About $150 of free stuff). Maybe buyers will also get this.

  • I just bought my Alienware 15 with GTX 1060, I'm thinking should I return my Alienware and get the HP Omen 17. Should I do it?

    • +1

If you can return it without a loss, absolutely (IMO). Along with the far better GPU (obviously) you're also getting better battery life. Latest Alienware does have a newer generation i7, but the gains aren't huge. No type-C though, and the keyboard might not be quite the same (plus no RGB :(.)

      • Thanks for the advice, I might return it and get the HP Omen!

    Rep,

Can you please advise if the HP X360's will work with an active stylus (such as the HP http://h20386.www2.hp.com/AustraliaStore/merch/Product.aspx?…), and does your stock come with a stylus similar to the post made by Trusty Dussty?

    Thanks.

    • Also wanting to know which, if any, of the X360s from the OP come with a stylus.

      • Hi guys, Yes all the Spectre X360 models above come with an Active Stylus :)

  • Just a heads up for those who intend to install windows 7 on those intel boxes (not sure if windows comes preinstalled). it was a really painful experience for me with the Intel BOXNUC6i5SYH NUC as the boxes do not have support for usb 2.0 which makes it impossible to use a mouse and keyboard to go through the windows 7 install set up. I spent many hours trying to fix it before caving and getting windows 10 which installed fine from usb and recognised the mouse immediately.

  • Differences between HP [1HP16PA] Spectre X360 i7-7500U 16GB 512SSD 13.3FHD & http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/HP-Spectre-x360-13-AC064TU-i7-750… (13-AC064TU)?? Has me stumped

  • Just call HP and get bigger discounts than this with Corporate pricing. Anyone can get it.

    • +1

umm how much of a discount? Last i checked their prices were already over inflated on the HP website.

      • @dy4me I got 30% off the Spectre X360 in January. $3499 laptop for $2269. i7, 1tb,16gb.

  • +3

HP's Spectre x360 models are so confusing. It seems like every store has its own model. JB has their own, JW computers who posted the deal recently had a different model!

    • +1

Agree … I've become lost in trying to work it out. And I just want to buy a pair (with a prior June 30th invoice date possible).

  • Any omen's with 32gb ram?

  • +1

Does the 'HP [1HP16PA] Spectre X360 i7-7500U 16GB 512SSD 13.3FHD Touch' include the stylus like it does everywhere else? Like JBHifi etc.

    • +1

certainly does, an active stylus is included.

  • Hi Rep,

I ordered the Hp Omen and was happy that it arrived very quickly to my place in Melbourne. However, I was disappointed to see that the laptop isn't "brand-new, unused, unopened…" as stated on eBay. There are a number of obvious scratches on top of the laptop and some dirty smudges on the screen inside. I am not happy with the state of the laptop and I would like to swap it for an actual brand new laptop. Are there any in stock at your Melbourne retail store? I could come by this weekend to swap it if there are.

    • Hi Awesom,

We purchased them brand new from our Australian distributor only this week, so it should absolutely be brand new, bring it past the store and we can give you another with apologies!

We will follow up with our supply chain to understand what has occurred and have them take the laptop back after we clear it up for you.

      • Thanks for getting back to me. I see that your store isn't open in the weekends so I'll be by on Monday. Cheers.

  • Has anyone that ordered a Spectre receive their product or get a delivery confirmation as yet?

    • Nope. And I've sent two ebay messages without a response.

  • I have sent one ebay message without a response.

    Dear Rep,

Come on guys, you have gone to the effort of posting a deal here, don't let yourself down by failing to communicate with purchasers after the purchase has been made.

Even though your deal stated that typically orders are dispatched within 24 hours, a response surely will only take you a couple of minutes, and communication goes a long way, even if you are unable to honor your dispatch time.

I know I am quite understanding as long as I know what is happening….

    Please respond to our messages.

  • Hi Guys,

thanks for the messages, im told we answered fatpizza a bit earlier via ebay message and gave him a tracking number. Hard to tell who is who because of ebay/ozb usernames.

We do have a lot of eBay messages to go through at the moment as you could understand. If we are taking too long to reply, feel free to give us a call or hope on live help on our website and you can ask right away :)

Ozbargain is not as actively monitored as our live help or all call centre, so any concerns, definitely start there.
