TGG Seem to have reduced Some phones, this phone is one that's actually in stock online, there are other colours available but different prices. I rang them and they said some stores have the G4 Plus for $195 & G4 Play for $139 too but very limited stock left.

You can either opt for store credit or Get OW to price beat & pay $663.65
$1.40 item makes the total purchase $700 which you need to get $100 store credit

Woo greedy office works and locap shop mafia. Now you are seeing lower price because no ones buying the old tech. I bought the same phone for 630 last year from an overseas seller. Total rip-off.

  • +5

That's gotta be the cheapest price for an s7 edge from an Australian retailer. Kogan doesn't count, even when they market as aus stock shipped from hk.

    • Correct.

I naively thought this was an S8 deal until I read the title again…

  • Price match with HN for those still with AMEX cashback. With split payment, brings price down to $498.

    • +1

It's $50 cash back on $350 spend. One of us needs to work on maths.. ;-)

      • +1

2 x AMEX cards..thats what I meant by split payment

    • What is split payment?
How do you get in $498?

    • I just chatted with HN online, He said they can't price match a clearance product, is this correct?

    • not $498, but 700 less 100, with 2 split AMEX card payment

      • I am doubt HN will sell this for $598.60 before AMEX cashback. What is the best offer for this from HN? Any idea?

    • it will bring down to $598 if you have two amex.

  • +15

I did save the HN offer to my 2 CCs, if someone wants to buy from HN, happy if someone wants to take advantage as I am not going to use it. Don't need anything in return, happy to buy meet up at HN close to Sydney CBD.

    • why? Does HN have similar deal for S7E?

    • Interested! How much is it gonna come out to? :)

  • Officeworks won't have stock of S7 Edge any longer.

    • Even if they have any, dont think they price match clearance stuffs. Same with Harvey Norman as well.

    Wow old phone now

    • +2

but still has retained its value.

    • It's funny how people think one year old model is old tech these days.

  • The price is for online only?

  • That really sucks, as I just bought an S7 2 weeks ago after my first one got smashed up (yes I know the S8 was out, but from all reviews I read I decided the premium price wasn't worth it).

Anyway, yes I'm salty, but this still deserves an up vote. Top job from TGG!

    • did you find a good screen protector?

      • Nah, I just bought one of the plastic films that sticks over the screen to stop it from getting scuffed/scratched. Had no luck with tempered glass in the past as it seems to shatter too easily.

Got a Spigen slim armour cases, which will hopefully protect it from drops.

    • if you bought it on certain CCs you might be able to claim on price protection

      • Can't…. it's an S7, not an S7 Edge

  • I am getting no stock in Melbourne :(

  • I can't find where to get the "Add $1.40 item & Get $100 store credit with C&C"?

  • +2

Last time I had a store credit from them it had a 30 days expiry. If that's the case still then better find something you "need" for $100 or this phone is still 700 bucks

    • Yep, expires less than that according to the terms.

  • I just saw this for AUD 499 with AU Warranty and free insurance. Is this a good place to buy?
    https://www.catchdeal.com.au/index.php?route=product/product…

I haven't bought from them before.

If you can pay 700 for S7 then why not spend another 125 and buy a S8 from becextech IMO. I think it's worth for extra 32GB space and newer tech.

    • +1

The phone from Catch Deal is open box. Probably refurbished phone and no Samsung Australia warranty. Catch Deal have bad reviews online.

Becextech is a grey import, with the usual risks associated with that.

$700 for an Australian stock S7 Edge is great value for a great phone.

  • Wow no stock :(

    • +1

You can still get it delivered for another $5

  • Thanks OP bought, combined with oven purchase for $200 store credit.

    • Which tgg :)?

    • +1

Make sure you take advantage of that credit and look out for new deals you can use it on and remember you should be able to use it in store too so could possible get them to price match an item and then use your credit of something around those lines :)

      • Thanks Trent86, Yep won't let it go to waste.. planning on getting a telly soon using the $200 store credit and $200 eftpos card from the Panny aircon I bought last year. Couldn't use the eftpos card for this online purchase so will have to get a TV deal in store (probably using Shoprite).
