I've been searching for a week finally a phone on eBay cheaper than aliexpress.. I've had a Redmi Note 2 for 18 months and love it.. easy to fix.. great ROM support. Looking forward to getting an upgrade..

The seller also has Silver for the same price.

$170.33 was the EUR/AUD conversion that I paid.

Don't bother neg'ing or commenting because it's the 16GB model.. yes I know there are others… This is really the Ozbargain model.. cheap as!

I think people can comment on whatever they want if their point is valid.

Ps. The 32GB one is $176, I think that might be a better buy.

    • Cheaper in Pink…. I've dredged through AliExpress.. All the sellers use pink or gold to get a low search listing and higher prices on the colours people want..

Not in black or silver.. Sadly I wanted a silver or black Phone..

    • yes but you can't use the code. no point buying for cheaper if you can't use the ebay code :D

  • I'm not sure this has global ROM, which means it may not have Playstore out of the box. Too painful for many!

    • EVERYONE should be reinstalling a ROM before use anyway! It is very common for sellers to add malware before shipping. A clean wipe is the only way to be sure the ROM is pure.

  • any reason to update to one of these from the note 3 pro?

    • I doubt it.. my phone lost its ability to use the earpiece speaker.. and cracked screen #3.. if my current phone hadn't been tortured i would not be upgrading..

      • Is that the note 3? Mine's been fantastic, never used a screen cover and no major scratches. Must admit, call quality is rather average at times, not sure if that's the phone or the fact i'm with a budget carrier (optus network however).

Performance wise it's great, though the camera is a average (a feature of most cheap smartphones i guess).

I would be happy to upgrade if I thought there was going to be a major difference, but this looks very similar to the 3.

        • Note 3 glass cracks cos it doesn't have dragon trail or gorilla glass. Dropped mine and screen still works but it's smashed to hell. Mi Max dropped and since had gorilla glass no issue.

      • I have a same problem with my redmi note2 which has been about 1+ year.
        It makes me to hesitate.

  • Hows the camera?
