  Hmm i just read 2 reviews that say it was an absolute flop built on some classic old tunes. Can anyone tell me differently? I know critics can be a bit over the top sometimes….

    In West End, it ran from Dec 2012 to Aug 2014. Towards the end, the theatre contract came to an end, they were looking to another theatre, but could not find one big enough. Based on this, one can hardly call the show a flop.

    But it is possible the reception is more lukewarm in Oz. Hope this is not the case when it comes to Melbourne - always like to see live theatre succeed.
