      I don't do gaming, but use this for typing. I love this keyboard. This is my first mechanical keyboard so don't know how it compares to brown switches.

    the keyboard is the equivalent of blue switches, good for typing but not good for gaming.

      Guess that means they're clickey/noisy?

      Damn, my wife hates my Cherry MX Blues in my G710 so was trying to find an alternative.

        There is some little o'rings you can put under the keys on ebay that quieten them down a bit.

        Double edit … I have the logitech G710+ mechnical keyboard and also the kogan mechanical keyboard both with brown switches and both very good IMO , i like the clackyness of the keypress.

          For the generic o-rings on ebay, do the colours actually make a difference? Or are they all the same? (I do notice that it does say that some are harder, while others are softer).

        Hello there jace ;)

        These have the Kailh blues so yes, they sound quite similar to Cherry MX blues. Your wife just needs to man up and accept the satisfaction of blue switches.

        You'll need to look for something with brown switches to be quieter, but IMO they don't feel anywhere near as good.

      I just got the keyboard, it is definitely noisy.
