    Not as good as $10 :P

  • Put

    Supports LTE 700Mhz (B28)

    Or something for clarity. Most know it as B28 on here.

  • Will this support sim cards from other carriers or is it unlockable?

    • +2
      • Does it come with instructions to unlock? How complicated?

        • Easy as…

          How does it work?

          1 Click on buy now & save a message with your imei number send/message it via eBay message
          2 I will send/message you the unlocking code
          3 Simply insert other network sim/ >Establish a WiFi connection > Go to settings on your ‘Dashboard’ to input the code. or type http://192.168.0.1/html/simlockrequired.html

          @nocure: Cheers big ears, What do these hieroglyphs mean in our language?: GBP 1.79 Approximately US $2.29 ie. AU$

        • @Davious:
          Approx. $3.05AU

          @nocure: Ah good, I understand that one… o.O

          @Davious: I got it for GBP 1.24 or US$1.60 or A$2.11

    • It only supports 3 lte bands however. It will probably be fine on optus as well as Telstra but only covers 1 band on vodafone (at least till they broadcast on the b28 bandwidth they recently bought).

      I got mine from there. Cheaper as it works out to be around au$2.10

      • Same…

  • This seems to be online only as I checked with a couple of stores and no one had them in store. Ordered one via click and collect.

    • I got one last week in store, but they only have 2 available in total.

    • Seems that way. I just ordered online, added enough other groceries I needed anyway, to exceed $50 (to allow the online order to proceed) and opted to click and collect at a local-ish branch.

    • Pretty typical to find stores with no stock of items like that.

  • Does this come with a starter pack which you can use as Google play credit?

    • I think it comes with 4gb (or less) to use in 14 days (add or take 1 (or 2) weeks)…

  • Does anyone know if you can use these as a router?

    Ie. Connected PCs/mobiles can network share with each other? Any way to disable the wifi isolation? Flash generic (non-telstra) firmware?

    Got one in the last $10 deal. :)
    Thx!

    • It had the option/feature, but i haven't tried it…

      • Can't see it on mine. I know other ZTE devices seem to have a checkbox for isolation. Am I missing something or has Telstra gimped the firmware?

    • When I bought mine I researched the same. No third party firmware afaik. It would have been such a good buy if it was openwrt compatible

  • Comes with 3Gb data on Telstra for one month (at least the 1 I got did).

    Got it price matched at Big W with no questions asked. Should have gone to officeworks though for the extra 5% off.

      Thanks for the tips!

    • Plenty of stock at Big W Macquarie Centre NSW - but they gave me a hard time, citing that it was "they would lose too much" to price match.

      Needed the Manager's manager's approval.

      • Hilarious - I actually got mine from down the road at Big W Top Ryde.

  • this Deal is Long Dead isn't it ?
