  • Good deal for a decent mid-range laptop
I'm using 5740 (with a mistaken cpu update to i5) - But this model got a dedicated GPU
Only issue with these are battery life, 6 cell only lasts 2.5 hours max

    • Who in the world uses E-Sata?! They're as widely used as USB 3.0.

  • Amazing what that price gets. Did quick look around and slightly similar price point here, slightly less beefy CPU but bluetooth, 1080p HDMI video, same GPU - http://www.onlinecomputer.com.au/product_info.php?products_i…

  • Wish we'd see more ASUS sales popping up, not a fan of Acer regardless of it's specs. I know people say they've gotten better but I'd just rather not get one again.

  • Cheap and good stocks in all stores on buy online.

  • Pretty decent, similar specs to the Toshiba a month or so back

  • yup, i got the toshiba last month … biggest diff is the video (toshi has 512mb something something) and 14" screen on toshiba (i've been told that the 15.6" laptop screen's have an odd resolution that causes problems with a lot of games and is make by the one shonky company & has problems)
