1070s and 1080TIs are better (for ETH and alts).
If you need to ask, you probably shouldn't be mining as you will most likely make a loss.

How inferior is this to the MSI Gaming X?
I heard rumours that the PCB is exactly the same but the cooling might be sh*t. So its definitely a good card for water cooling but the temps might be a bit high compared to most others, I think gamersnexus had the article that mentioned that its cooler was okay for 1070s but not enough for 1080/ti versions of the card
Note my shipping estimated is between Mon. 17 Jul. and Mon. 24 Jul.

Who installs manufacturer video card software outside of the NVIDIA/and drivers?
I did and I'm pretty sure a lot of other people do why does Nvidia give you overclocking options and fan and clock settings?

What date and time did you try to get the deal?
I was sent a message to Kogan saying I wanted to cancel my order… then I changed and sent another message to them that I wanted to stay with the deal. They replied I was still good to go.

Ebay order says between 20th and 27th of July now.. I think its dropped back by a week.

My order was just cancelled, and refund is being processed. They said the item is out of stock and cannot be supplied. Would be interesting to see if anyone else actually gets the card.
Properly pissed off, as I used the 15% ebay discount for this… KOGAN, never again. Hard lesson learned on how they operate
Well crap. Interesting to see if any other orders are cancelled. Jump on newegg, theres been a few decent nvidia cards from there.
Yeah, very concerned about warranties. So will probably only go with EVGA from US/UK.
I wish AMD would have hurried up with VEGA, as then either VEGA would be a good option, or cheaper 1080's. If I order now, it would probably arrive 2 weeks before VEGA launch. Anyhow, lets not start the AMD/NVIDIA war here :)

UPDATE: Just received email from kogan saying unable to ship until 2nd august, and gave me a $10 kogan voucher.
"Your item is now expected to be shipped from our warehouse on the 2nd of August. As soon as your order is shipped, we will send you a notification email to confirm that it's on its way. "I got the same email

Personally I'll hang in there until there's a EVGA deal on Amazon then I'll cancel.

It will be interesting to see if these ship on the 2nd of August, I'm doubtful but hanging in there as well. I wonder what methodology was used to determine whose order gets delayed and whose order is shipped as I am fairly certain I bought right near the end. It it appears others who bought before me have had their order cancelled.

August 2nd has come and gone and still no sign of shipping from Kogan. Has anyone heard anything from Kogan about This?
I emailed them last night about it so waiting to hear back. Might have to cancel and buy off Amazon.

Another email from Kogan. Seems another delay. Think I'll be cancelling and going for the Amazon deal.
