      TPU = Thermoplastic polyurethane

      My guess is that it's carbon fibre appearance. A real carbon fibre case would block the wifi and mobile signal.

      Bought one of these from OP a month or so back. It is best described as 80%rubbery, 20% plasticky and 12% funk.

      It is my favourite case, not great drop protection, but thin, grippy and low profile.

      Get one for the price, no ragrets.

    Got one for S7E and 6s, the last time this sale was on. Wouldn't really call them grippy, but the phone's thickness had a very slight increase, and depending on what colour bezels your phone has, looks pretty good. If only the texture at the back was more pronounced..
