It's back, not 15% but 20%. A tad late for me for my return to Oz on July 2 (I only got 15%), but will utilise for my next sojourn to a much warmer climate in August.

    if you're going to Japan then buy your booze at the supermarket and pack in your checked- in luggage.

    inexpensive supermarket japanese whiskey e.g. 680yen for 700ml is extremely good value.

  • can you get Yamazaki at Japanese Supermarket? I like the Distillers edition only have a little left and now is hard to get in Oz

      depends on the supermarket - I saw it in 1 or 2 supermarkets but I love going to supermarkets in Japan (in the car - "hey kids, supermarketo desu, let's get stuff"). I usually buy inexpensive japanese whiskey and I've yet to be disappointed. TBH, at this point I wouldn't even both with Yamazaki.

    • Yes you can. Few months ago I bought the Yamazaki 12 for around A$80.
