    we wont make money on less than 6. Its pointless selling just 1 at this price. Also Fastway shipping is $10 and 6 units will help with that as well. ITs $10 upto 25KG worth of risers :-) "according to SENDLE"

      Yeah you are right.
      Maybe if you had solar panels because the feed in tariff is worthless.
      But I wouldn't get solar panels just for mining.

      Still potential to make money even after electricity costs. I'm doing it with 1080 in my spare time and will make about $130 this month. Electricity will be about $15-20.

      So not going to quit my job, but enough to cover my internet bill and fund a couple of steam games. I consider it Pocket money

    How can an x1 PCIe 3.0 lane provide enough bandwidth for a GPU that needs at least an x4 lane?

      Mining does not need Graphic Processing. The Texture engine in these cards are pretty much offline. What Mining uses is the Compute Engines and these need MINIMAL bandwidth. Mining only does calculations. 1x is 8 gbps which is PLENTY. You can even split the 1x with 1 to 3x splitters and it will still work fine for MINING.
